Our Father, our Maker, our Lord and our King, we bow before You this morning; we bless Your Holy name for all that You have done; thank You for thus far You have helped us; thank You for the preservation of our lives; thank You because here we are standing in your presence; thank You because in Your presence, there is fullness of joy and at thine right hands there are pleasures forevermore; thank You for not leaving us alone; thank You for Your help Mighty hands of our nation; thank You for the elections that were held yesterday; thank You Father Almighty God for the collations of results; thank You because a new Nigeria shall be born; accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ. Accept our praises in the name of Jesus Christ!
Thank You for keeping our hope alive; the Bible says to him that is joined with the living there is hope, because a living dog is better than a dead lion; thank You because we are no dogs; thank You because we are no cows; thank You because we are Your children; thank You because we are the carrier of Your grace; accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You for the hope of a better nation; thank You for the hope of a better future; thank You because we know our expectations shall not be cut off; accept our praises in the name of Jesus Christ. God of heaven we beseech You this morning that You will make every impossibility to become possible; let all the impossibilities in our lives – physically, spiritually, maritally, materially, politically, even in the spiritual realm; Father, convert them to possibilities in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, speak to us today and by Your word strengthen our faith in Jesus name. We pray for those whose hearts are down, they are down to the extent that they cannot make sense out of what is going on; my Lord and my Father, touch such heart today in the name of Jesus Christ.
My Father and my God, everything that the enemies have done to cut Your people, to weaken your people, to weaken their faith; Father Almighty God, we pray today You will cancel in the name of Jesus Christ. Reach out to us today; let Your word stir up faith in our hearts; let Your word bring hope back into our lives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And we pray in the name of Jesus that by reason of Your word, that none of us will leave here without being blessed in Jesus name.
Thank You for everything; we stand on the authority of Your word that we decree and declare that the sick shall be healed in Jesus name; that the oppressed shall be set free in Jesus name; Lord Almighty God that the captive shall be set free in the name of Jesus; and sinners shall be saved today. And Lord together we will all celebrate the goodness of God, and together we’ll celebrate the goodness of our land in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Father by the time you turn around the situation of Nigeria, I pray that ourselves, our children, all our loved ones will not be found wanting in the name of Jesus. Blessed be Your name forever oh God in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
And the people of God will say a better amen! Let all the children of God here in the house say a better amen! Let somebody who is confident of a better tomorrow come on say amen! Let the patriotic Nigerians in the house shout a thunderous amen!
The Bible says say ye to the righteous, it shall be well with him; I prophesy into your life, I prophesy into your home, I prophesy into your today, I prophesy into your tomorrow and I decree it shall be well with you in the name of Jesus. Anyone that tries to hurt you will have God to contend with; you are untouchable; you are unwinnable; you are unbeatable in the name of Jesus. Whether the devil likes it or not, Nigeria will be delivered; never again in this country that we’ll have to beg for food; never again will we use naira to buy naira in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
All those who are holding Nigeria by the jugular, the Lord will displace them and so shall it be, for so we have decreed in Jesus name. God bless you!
Good morning to you all and congratulations on the successful election! Like our mummy prayed, it was half by half yesterday, will there be service today or not; in fact before I left home, a friend of mine called me from United Kingdom and said please don’t go out early; and of course I had to think about it and because of that as early as five, I called Pastor Jenrola, what is the state of things in Lekki? He did not pick; I called again, he didn’t pick; I had to call Pastor Wale Oyedeji who responded immediately and told me sir, we voted till late and everything rounded off well and for now there have been no issue, the roads are free and everything; and I told my wife, let’s go and see; let’s find out for ourselves and we hit the road and by time we came out of the estate, we saw a few cars; I said some vehicles are moving and I followed, and to the glory of God here we are, we bless the almighty God; the good work He has started, He will complete in Jesus name.
And I asked them in the morning, how many of you were able to perform your civil responsibility yesterday? Let me see your hands up; God bless those of you that voted and those of you that did not vote, God sees you o and don’t complain o, by the grace of God, God will take away every cause of complain in Jesus name.
I voted and I delivered my polling station, to whom it was delivered is none of your business but one thing I can assure you is that I voted and I’ve always been doing it, you will see the mark. You know in some countries, I think Cuba and all the rest, Peru, if you don’t vote you are not allowed to operate business, you can’t run any business. It’s only in this country that we will sit on the side of the fence, we will be criticizing but we will never get involved; the church has to wake up and from the look of things, you will all agree with me that we can change the narrative if we all throw ourselves into it, and I pray that God Almighty will deliver us full and final in the name of Jesus Christ.
I’m waiting for the results, it was a keenly contested one and I trust God that we will celebrate, God will give us a new Nigeria; if you believe that rise on your feet are shout halleluyah! God bless you.
Romans 4: 17- 21, “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Who against hope believed in hope (I want you to take note of that), that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform”.
What He has promised, He is able to perform and what He has done before, He can do again. The Bible says (which happens to be the motto of the Redeemed Christian Church of God) in Hebrews 13: 8 is that Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever; what He has done before, He will do again. Let somebody shout hallelujah!
Today, we want to challenge our faith; today we want to make every one of us to wake up and strengthen our faith; the currency of our relationship with God is faith. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11 that “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”; by faith you appropriate results and you will begin to walk in the realm of the result that you achieve even when it has not manifested and that is why I’ll be talking to us on the topic “God of all possibilities”.
We have a God that specializes in impossibilities; we have a God that specializes in dealing with impossibilities. Impossibility (as you all know) means something that cannot be done, something that cannot be accomplished, something that cannot be made happen by human efforts. Something that no man by himself can bring to bear, it must be referred to as impossibility, but we discovered that as far as our God is concerned, He is a specialist in dealing with impossibilities.
The first case we cited this morning is found in the book of 1st Samuel 6, when you read from verses 7 to 12, for you to have a better understanding, I would recommend you read from verse 1 where God changed animals nature, what has never happened before was made happen; God sent two white cows to carry the Ark of the Lord back to the land of Israel leaving their calves behind.
Now a little background information to what happened; the Ark of the Lord was caught in the lands of the Philistines and for seven months the ark got stuck, and from the day the ark got stuck it was one problem or the other for the Philistines, and I pray today in the name of Jesus, like the Philistines suffered because they touched what they were not supposed to touch, everyone that dares to touch you from today will suffer in Jesus name.
It was there and the people saw the naked power and the implication of the presence of the ark, they now looked for how to get rid of the Ark to return it back to Bethshemesh and nobody was willing to touch; so God spoke that look, go and get two white cows, they should leave their calves (otherwise their children) behind, let them take this thing and would you ever believe that cows would carry an ark?
They performed the role of human beings; they carried the ark; they returned it to Bethshemesh and the people of Israel rejoiced and guess what? As they were going, they did not go empty-handed because God said the Philistines must offer a trespass offering. I decree today in the name of Jesus, anyone that has robbed you in the past will return them in 100 folds; anyone that has crossed you will pay for it in the name of Jesus.
He said they will not go empty-handed, so they put all kinds of offering – gold, silver and they carried an animal, performed the role of a man and delivered the ark. So that is one possibility, a possibility that is too many; something that will beat every human imagination, and guess what? The God that did that is still the same God that we are serving, and that’s why I want you to just relax, I don’t know the challenges you are going through, I don’t know the circumstances around you but what did I say? Relax.
Tell your neighbor, relax; is it that you don’t have cash? Relax. I can assure you cash will flow in the mighty name of Jesus. I see that you are sick, relax, the healing virtues of God will touch you wherever you are; are you being oppressed?
Relax, I can assure you that very soon you will celebrate freedom just like Nigeria is at the verge of celebration, you are going to celebrate. Can I hear you celebrate Jesus!
We will also find another story in 2nd Kings 6; the sons of prophet went to their master, they said “Master, where we dwell is too straight for us”, in other words, too small, they were just living there in discomfort and they said sorry, we can get something better; we have the skill, we have the competence to be in a better place, for us to have our peace acquired; but for us to do that we need to get some woods, so permit us to go to Jordan. And the Bible says he gave them his consent and one of them came back to him and said sir, we want to request that you come along with us, we don’t want to go alone.
I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that all through this year and the years ahead, you will not walk alone in Jesus name; the presence of the Lord will go with you everywhere you go in the mighty name of Jesus and guess what? The presence of God will make a difference; wherever the presence of God is, there is always a difference, there is always a pleasure, there is always something to testify about, and I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that your coming here today will fetch you testimonies upon testimonies and miracles upon miracles in the mighty name of Jesus.
So he went with them and no sooner than they started the axe fell into the water. I was teasing them in the morning; I said how many people know axe head? I said because those who are born in Lagos, I doubt it, especially those who were born in Lekki, those who were born in Ikoyi, they will probably not know axe head; I said it is people (like us) from the village that would know axe head. Axe head is an iron – a piece of iron but has a wood as a handle, how many of you have seen axe head before? Because some of you are looking at me colossously like this. You see, the number of people who have seen it is far below the number of those who have not seen it, you need to go back to the village, that’s why some of you are not strong, so if you have not seen it then you don’t know how to use it.
We use it to pieces wood to make fire but today all you know is gas, stove; in fact some of you might not even know stove, how many of you know stove? Let somebody shout Hallelujah!
The axe head fell and they said alas master! It was borrowed. Like I told them in the morning; you borrowed something, how will you now go back to the person that lent you and say sorry, that thing is misplaced? It’s going to create a lot of suspicion; number one, the man would think you’ve sold it; he might think that maybe you don’t want to return it; all kinds of things.
Okay, assuming he doesn’t have those things he would think that you are careless; he would tell you I’ve been using that axe for how many years, you just came for it now, you misplaced it. So the shame, the stigma and the kind of embarrassment it would cause, but that’s why they called their master, the axe head has fallen; he asked them, get me a piece of wood and he tried to identify the point where that thing dropped, he threw it and contrary to every known law – the law of nature, chemistry, physics, whatever you say, the axe head floated, it came back; the thing floated back, it came from the deeper part where it fell and it came back.
I pray today in the mighty name of Jesus that everything that represents an axe head in your life that has fallen, they shall be restored in Jesus name. I said they shall be restored in the name of Jesus.
Brethren, God is a God of impossibility, and when God speaks, He watches over His words to fulfill it. Jeremiah 1: 12, “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it”. He said “I will hasten My word to perform it”. God is bound by His word, in the book of Hebrews, the Bible says after He has spoken, after He has done everything, He looked for something by which he can swear but there was nothing greater than the name, and he swore by that same name, that by two immutable things for which it is impossible for God to lie.
A man can promise and fail, God does not fail; a man can promise to help you, situations and circumstances can make him not to be able to help you but there is no situation or circumstances that is beyond God and that’s why I pray and I believe as a matter of fact that everything God has said concerning you will come to pass in Jesus name.
All that you need to bring the word of God to pass in your life is faith, amen. All that you need to bring the word of God to manifestation in your life is faith and that was exactly what Abraham demonstrated. God promised Abraham a child and Abraham against hope according to that scripture in Romans 4 believed the hope thus he had what we call unwavering faith in God.
When God says I will bless you, He will surely bless you; when God says I will help you, He will surely help you; when God says I will not let you down, God will surely not let you down; He’s a promise keeper, He is a covenant keeping God; God is too big to fail, He is mightier than failure, He is mightier than your situation, He is mightier than your mood; what God cannot do does not exist and I believe in the mighty name of Jesus that from today, mountains in your life will crumble.
Someone did not hear that prayer, I said mountains in your life will crumble; cancer in your life will crumble; that kidney stone will become a thing of the past; when next you go for treatment, they will not see it again in Jesus name. There is nothing God cannot do, He’s a God of all possibilities.
In 2nd Corinthians 1: 20, it says “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us”, His words are yea and amen, but there are things you need to do for you to be able to receive from God and the best example of what to do and how to go about it is actually seen in the life of Abraham; when God promised Abraham that Sarah is wife would give birth to a son, Abraham had to ignore his natural circumstances, he had faith in God’s promise and believed that God was powerful enough to do what He said He would do.
In that Romans 4: 19 – 21 tell us about the steps that Abraham followed in order to receive the impossible promise made to him by God, and this particular scripture makes one thing clear, and if you are going to receive from God you will need to do the same thing that Abraham did. The Bible says “and being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, (I need you to take note of that) when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb”. He didn’t consider his natural status as at the time, neither that of his wife.
Four things that Abraham did that I want to strongly recommend to you; number one – he considered not; number two – he staggered not and number three,
he gave glory to God even ahead of time; he gave glory to God even before the miracle happened; and number four – he was fully persuaded.
Now looking at number one – he considered not; he did not take into account the natural circumstances that told him, oh, it was impossible for you and your wife to have a child. At your age, if anybody is telling you that is a joke but Abraham will not buy into that.
I said it in the morning that average menopausal age for women is about 50 something (if I’m right), there are extreme cases of those who would take it to late 50s, but there are those who will start at the age of 40. Now we are talking of a woman who is 90 years old, and I shared a joke with them that I was very close to my mom before she passed at 78, you would see that the body was not as smooth as it used to be before. When you see any old fellow – 80, 90, you would see that the body, flesh, everything would have collapsed, if you look at the upper arm, you would see it’s not as robust as the one you are carrying, even though some of you now your body is shaking, but whatever is making your body to shake even at your tender age, God will take it away in the name of Jesus Christ.
At 90, and for Abraham 99 is 100 as far as I’m concerned, mathematically, at 100, but guess what? Abraham’s faith was so strong that he did not consider the fact that both he and his wife were beyond the age of having children. God promised him that they would have a son and Abraham didn’t blink an eye, he held on unto that and he never allowed the obstacles around him, the situation around him, the state of his own body to come through as an obstacle.
And number two – he staggered not; according to that scripture, the Bible says he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief. Think about it, common sense tells us that a 99 year old man and a 90 year old woman will not be able to have children, but Abraham did not say anything against that at all, in other words, he didn’t waver, he said God has said it and I believe it. There is this song we used to sing, “Whatever He has said He can do; whatever He has said I believe it;
Brethren, the word of God says you shall be head and not the tail, believe it; how God will actualize it is none of your problem. The word of God says your tomorrow will be all right, believe it; how it will come to pass is none of your own problem. A lot of times we drive ourselves into a pulp because we try to reason, we try to figure ‘how is it going to work,’ ‘maybe God will use sister A or use sister B’, so when sister B is not picking your call, you would think that the end has come.
I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that with effect from today, God Almighty will surprise you more than ever before in Jesus name, and He will strengthen your faith in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not look up unto man anymore but you will look up unto God because whatever God says He will do, He can do it and He will do it.
The Contemporary English Version says, “But Abraham never doubted or questioned God’s promise”. There are many of us today, when we say ‘God says’, they would say how would that be? How would that happen? How it will happen is none of our business.
When God told the children of Israel, ‘I will take you out of this land of bondage to a land that is flowing with milk and honey’; severally, they were asking questions, ‘how is He going to do it?’ With the numbers of seas around – Red Seas is here, how are we going to do it? But when it was God’s time, God parted the Red Seas for them.
I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every Red Seas ahead of you shall be parted in Jesus name. If you believe, give me a better amen! Let God hear your believing amen!
God has taken note of your amen and every of your heart desire will come to pass in the name of Jesus.
A person who staggers or wavers in faith will never receive anything from God, according to James 1: 6 & 7, it says “But let him ask in faith; (I’m talking to you, whatever you are asking, whatever you are going to ask from now, if you have not been doing it before, do it in faith), nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed”.
Go to the beach, you will see the level of the current, the sea is always dancing, except occasionally when you see there will be no wave, it will stand still, but oftentimes, you will always see the current and when you see it is according to the wind, it’s tossed here and there. Sometimes it goes this direction, sometimes it goes this other direction, so is the state of a man or a woman who nurtures unbelief.
I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that you will not be victims of circumstances in the name of Jesus Christ.
Abraham acknowledged the fact that he was old, he knew the condition of his body but he refused to consider those things and chose instead to consider what God has said.
Brethren, I want to challenge us today, consider what God has said over and above what your situation is saying; consider what God has said concerning Nigeria over and above the situation that you are seeing; a new Nigeria is engulfing, a new Nigeria will be delivered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. In this same country, there will be abundance; in this same country, there will be peace; in this same country, there will be restoration and in this same country, we will sing that we never knew He would answer us this way, He has done it before and I trust God that He will do it again.
Number three, he gave glory to God, Romans 4: 20. He gave glory to God; he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelieving but was strengthened in faith giving glory to God.
Abraham gave glory to God for the blessings before it ever happened, and I want to encourage you, you have to believe God and thank Him for the answer even before it comes. In Philippians 4: 6, it says “We should be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”. I want to recommend that you do not have to wait until you get answer before you praise God for it.
Jesus at the tomb of Lazarus, the Bible says He looked into the heavens and said ‘God I thank You because You always hear and answer me,’ and after that He spoke to a dead of four days and Lazarus came back to life. I pray today that everything that is dead in your life will come back to life in Jesus name.
Number four, Abraham was fully persuaded. Abraham was strong in faith, so he did not consider the circumstances or stagger at the promise of God; he wavered not concerning what he believed, why? Because he was fully persuaded, he was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He has promised to do.
[Music] He is able, abundantly able to deliver and to save; He is able, abundantly able to deliver those who trust in Him.
Brethren, as I round up, all that is required of us, that is, what our position should be in order for us to break the barriers of impossibilities is number one, consider not; number two, stagger not; number three, give glory to God from time to time and number four, be fully persuaded.
The Bible says they that know their God shall be strong and do exploit for Him; you must know the God that you are serving. The reason why many of us are not fully persuaded is simply because we don’t even know the God we are serving, but if you know the God that you are serving, if you know the characteristics nature of God you are serving, that He is not prone to failure, that He is not prone to error, you’ll be fully persuaded.
So I beseech you today to stop considering the hopelessness of your situation or that of our nation, focus on God of all possibilities, He is able and more than able to deliver and to save; He has done it before and He will do it again.
So like I said at the beginning, the whole essence of this exhortation today is simply to challenge our faith; you need faith to walk with God. Faith is a currency of our relationship with God and this is more so because without faith according to Hebrews 11, it is impossible to please God. Because they that will come to Him must believe that He exists and He is the Rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, and in that same book of Hebrews it says by the same measure of faith that elders obtained a good report.
So Brethren I have good news for you this morning and it is the fact that it’s your season of hope; it’s a season of great expectation and our expectations shall not be cut off.
Shall we rise on our feet, [Music]
In Psalm 125:1, it says “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever”. I told them in the morning that you don’t trust who you don’t know; how do you trust somebody you don’t know? If somebody beckons on you to come, let’s go to somewhere in Magodo to go and enjoy and you have never met him before, under the current situation, will you follow that person? Even in a normal situation; you see a man, it doesn’t matter how handsome, it doesn’t matter how rich and he said please let’s go to GRA, Ikeja, let’s go and have some fun, will you follow the person? Even if it’s a woman to a woman, will you follow her?
Trust is a function of contact; it’s a function of closeness, knowing the fellow personality; so if you are here and you have not given your life to Christ, you cannot trust God for a miracle to happen for you, the first foundation that you need to have is that of confession, salvation is primarily based on confession.
Coming to God and saying God I’m sorry, this is what I’ve done; I resolve from today, I want to walk with You, I will not do it again; I surrender my life to You, take my life, take my everything and let it be consecrated unto You. Once you are deliberate about it and you are genuine about it, salvation is established.
So all eyes closed and as we all bow down our heads, if you are here and you have not given your life to Christ, there is no relationship, where there is no relationship there cannot be trusted; so I want to request that you raise up your hand very quickly, we don’t have so much time. I want to close because I have a few prayer that I want us to pray but you want to say yes Lord, this morning you don’t want your coming here today to be in vain, can you please raise up your hand wherever you are.
Jesus is waiting for you, today is your day of salvation. God bless you, I want to encourage you to come and say yes to Him.
The Lord will receive you all to Himself; He will overlook your past; mercy will triumph over judgment in your life and your name will be written in the Book of Life. From today you will become a child of God; you will become carrier of God’s grace and God will establish you in faith in Jesus name.
The rest of us we want to pray very quickly because of our time; we are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, from today, I refuse to look at my situation and circumstances in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and pray to God, ask God, Father help me not to look at my situations and circumstances from today in the mighty name of Jesus.
The choir sang ‘look and live; look unto Jesus and live,’ when you look at situation and circumstances, you will not be able to live; pray to God, Father help me to refuse from today to look at my circumstances and my situations, in Jesus name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, (say it loud and clear), Father, please turn my life, my family and my nation around for good, for peace and for progress in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord, Father in the name of Jesus, please turn my life, please turn my family, turn my nation around for good, for peace and for progress from today and henceforth, in Jesus name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please change my story and remove my shame in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord; Father from today, change my story, change my story and remove my shame in the mighty name of Jesus.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10: 11 that everyone that believes in him will never be put to shame; I want you to pray unto the Lord, Father, change my story, change my story, remove my shame in the mighty name of Jesus. Let me know no shame in the mighty name of Jesus; let me never suffer shame in every area of my life; thank You Father because it is done in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
You are going to cry unto the Lord; Father, please repackage me and make me a new being from today in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord; Father, please repackage me and make me a new being from today henceforth in the name of Jesus. Father almighty God, please make me a new being, repackage me, repackage our nation in the name of Jesus. Thank You glorious Father, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
You are going to pray to God and say Father, please walk through our nation, heal and restore the glory of our land in the mighty name of Jesus. Father please walk through our nation, heal Lord Almighty God and restore the glory of our land in the name of Jesus.
And finally I want you to cry unto the Lord and say Father, please establish me in faith and don’t let my focus on You fail; don’t let my focus leave from You in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry out to the Lord; Father, please establish me in faith and don’t let my focus slip from You in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
By the authority of the Most High, I decree and declare that from today your situation and circumstances, God will deal with in Jesus name; God will turn around your life, your family and our nation for good, for peace and for progress in the mighty name of Jesus. He will change our story and will take away our shame in the mighty name of Jesus; He will repackage us and make us a new being in the name of Jesus.
God will walk through our nation; He will heal our land and He will restore the glory of our land in the mighty name of Jesus. He will establish us in faith and He will cause our focus to be steadfast on Him forever, forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. He will uphold us with the right hand of righteousness; He will see us through and by reason of our faith we shall obtain a good report. And every good heart desires of our lives will come to pass, and forever the name of the Lord will be glorified.
So shall it be, for so we decree in the name of God the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name we have prayed. Amen!
