Let us keep clapping for Jesus, the almighty God, the great and the Mighty God, the Captain of our salvation, the assurance of our victory; blessed be His Holy name. Father we worship You this morning; we honor You this morning.
How many victors are here this morning? How many conquerors are here this morning? If you know that Jesus is the peace in your storm, shout the name Jesus. Say I am not worried anymore because my victory is assured.
Heavenly Father we thank You for there is no other God beside you; thank you for the confidence that You gave us; thank You for the grace that we have; thank You for the assurance of victory that you give us; thank You for encouraging our hearts not on nothing else but on truth solid truth; thank You Father in Jesus name.
Lord we know that already You’ve started something this morning and we know that that which You have started, You are going to complete it in the name of Jesus. Lord as many as are dwelling in the valley of defeat until this morning, they will go back rejoicing on the mountaintop of victory; you will not fail anymore; you will not suffer anymore; you will become victorious in all the battles of your life in the name of Jesus. Thank you everlasting Father, in Jesus name we pray.
Somebody shout a big Hallelujah! I’m so excited this morning uh because of a truth, God is with us. It was like the choir and I sat down to prepare for this service, it shows that the Spirit of God is here and that Spirit of God will manifest in your life in the name of Jesus.
The text for the message this morning is taken from Romans 8:35- 39. As we follow this morning, you will have a confirmation in your spirit that indeed God has a plan for you today; Romans 8:35; “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Praise the living Jesus!
Now, the title of this message is the “The three battles that you must win.” The text that we just read does not only describe or give us a picture into the life of Apostle Paul – of all that he went through, it also gives us a glimpse of the reality of a believer. One of the songs there told us that God never told us it’s going to be easy; He never told us there will be no trials or storms, but that He gave us an assurance that as a calmer of the storm and the One who has authority over trials, we shall always come out victorious.
He says we should sing above the strives of trouble, Hallelujah! He says this is our victory, that Jesus saves; no matter the storm or the strife or the tribulation or the trouble that you are going through this morning, that word of God (I’m sure it is clear) that you are coming out in triumph. I say God is speaking to somebody this morning, I don’t know what you’re going through but God, the all-saith, the all-knowing has prepared for you that whatever the nature, the enormity of the trouble or trial, not only the one that you are going through now, but He says the one that may come – that in the future, because the same Christ yesterday and tomorrow, He sees beyond what we see; He knows what is coming ahead, so He’s prepared ahead for the battles that we’re going to face.
So the Bible never told us that the Christian life is a bed of roses; it never told us that once we give our lives to Christ that everything is just going to be calm and sweet and rosy, no, and this is not just for believers, so everybody in life will go through strives and challenges and troubles, but the difference between us – the believers and the unbelievers, (and I hope those who have not given their life to Christ will hear this morning and you will respond when it is time); the difference between the believer and the unbeliever no matter the height of the unbeliever, no matter your status is that when trouble comes, trouble will come – may come at anytime, you may not like the word ‘will’ or ‘shall’ but ‘may’; trouble may come at any time, but for the believer, you are not going to face it alone, there’s Someone in that storm with you; there’s Somebody in that fire with you; there’s Somebody who is holding you through and saying don’t worry, no matter how big the storm is, is not going to overflow you; no matter how huge your fears the fire is, I’m here with you because no fire can burn Me; no water can overflow Me; no trial can consume Me.
So for the believer, when the trials come, you are not walking alone, you are not going to fight it by yourself, it’s Somebody who is going to be there with you to fight it; but for the unbeliever, when trials and challenges come, you are alone. All the kings of this world, all the armies of this world will not be sufficient to fight for you, because the Bible says ‘the arms of flesh shall fail; no man by strength can prevail’, that’s the difference.
Trouble will come for everybody at different times, and they come in different measures, different ways, different manifestations, but when they come, how will they meet you? Who will they meet you with? Is it with fellow men who will run away or with the word who has all the power? That’s why the worst thing you can ever do for yourself is not to surrender to Christ, that’s the worst decision of your life, and the best one is to give your life to Christ, it doesn’t cost you anything. It’s not a matter of pride, it’s not a matter of ego or status; wise people, surrender to God, hallelujah!
It is the wise who surrender to Christ because they know that this is a battle I cannot fight alone, but sometimes because of what we are, what God has given us, it beclouds us and we become proud and we say, how can I give my life to Him, that’s beneath me; that’s the worst lie of the devil from the pit of hell, and as many as have lived in that lie up till now, this morning, as we hear the truth, the truth will set you free in the name of Jesus.
Now, I talked about the three battles that we must fight and win; I’m sure we already know from the songs that we heard, the song was talking about victory, battles, strife, so it must be clear to anybody that there are battles ahead; there are so many battles that we are fighting this world – will fight, but there are three principal ones that we are going to talk about this morning but before talking about those battles, let me just quickly say why we must fight and win those battles, because unless you win these three battles, we can’t finish well.
Finishing well means that we must end our Christian race not in the valley defeat, but on the mountain top of victory; it means that you must finish standing on your feet, undefeated; you must stand till the end, not with your face to the ground but with your shoulders raised high walking majestically towards the kingdom of God in heaven; you must end as an over comer, not just an over comer as we see on earth, but as an over comer to the end, because there are blessings that God has reserved for those who overcome to the end, and unless you win in these three battles, you cannot earn that status.
The first battle is the battle with yourself; battle with ourselves, battle with the flesh, Hallelujah! The flesh is perhaps the most dangerous enemy that we face; our own flesh, and by flesh is not just the skin alone, is the inner man, the natural man, the Adamic nature which manifests itself in lustful desires, ungodly cravings, asking for things that will not edify God but that would destroy destinies. You know why the flesh is the most dangerous enemy? Because it’s an inside enemy. Every other enemies outside; Satan is outside; other enemies are outside; but this one is an enemy within; there is no enemy more dangerous than an enemy who lives with you, so an enemy within, he knows you even much more than yourself; he knows you more than the devil and he wants to seek control to keep you on the ground.
You know why the flesh wants to keep us here? Because the flesh is from the soil, from the ground; the flesh is a man of the soil, he doesn’t understand anything about heaven; your spirit and your soul are from heaven, from God, but the flesh is from the soil, so he doesn’t understand why you want to go to heaven; so he fights and does everything to keep you here with desires and pleasures and cravings, lust that are only of this world, that don’t have eternal value, hallelujah!
And talking about the devil, the devil only engages the flesh because he knows that without the flesh cooperating, the devil cannot have the inside information to fight you. It’s only when they both engage in a tactic team, they do tactic team against you, and then they can succeed. Without the flesh, if you are able to control your flesh and subdue your flesh, the devil has no inside information, he’s just roaming about but he cannot enter. That’s why the first battle we must fight and win is the battle of our flesh, Hallelujah!
Galatians 6: 19 – 21talks about the manifestation of the works of the flesh; adultery, fornication, uncleanliness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, (variance means quarreling), wrought, strives, addictions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, reveling and things like that; the things that don’t glorify God; the cravings of the flesh, the lust of the flesh, lust of the eye, pride of life; these are the desires of the flesh all meant to keep us down, and why is the flesh our enemy? Because it is also an enemy of God.
Romans 8:7 says because the canal mind (which is the flesh) is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can; the flesh is not subject, refuses to submit to the law of God, and whatever that does not submit to the law of God is against God and it’s against our entire destiny. Unless we fight and battle and conquer and overcome our flesh, the flesh will conquer us, and when the flesh conquers, then we are defeated with lusting.
So the first battle is to battle ourselves; to battle and conquer and subjugate those ungodly desires and cravings, lust, all manner of things to gratify the flesh, to keep our focus away from what is heavenly. If a man does not succeed in this, the flesh does not want to be governed, does not want to be ruled over, he wants to rule; even when we are believers, the flesh wants to rule over us and once the flesh is in control, you cannot have time for heavenly things because he wants to keep us here.
From history, from Biblical history and even in our world today, we have many examples of great destinies that the flesh has destroyed, from Adam to Esau, we can’t go into details because of time but we know the stories of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, flesh destroyed them; lust of the eye led them to disobey God. From Adam to Esau; from Moses to Samson; from the sons of prophet Eli to the sons of prophet Samuel; from Judas Iscariot to Demas (the companion of Apostle Paul); all these great destinies. Samson – they all fell, not because of Satan principally, but because they could not govern the flesh, they could not put their flesh under subjection.
Many great men and women even in our world today, people have attained great heights, many have fallen, many continue to fall because of stupid things that you say, ‘but how can he do this, how can she do this, at this level?’ There is no man who is not susceptible to the temptations of the flesh, the only difference is whether you are able to subdue it or not; if you are not able to subjugate your flesh, to keep it under subjection and tell it no, you are not going to eat now, you won’t eat this one; if it is your flesh that tells you I want to eat at 6am, take; I want to eat at 7am, take; I want to do this, take; that lady that is going, she’s beautiful I want her, take; oh you must have this one, take. If all you do is just to answer to the cravings of your flesh, you have only made most endangered.
So the first part of victory in life to become an over comer, to finish well, is to have the grace and ability to subdue our flesh and I pray that today, God will give us that grace to put our flesh under control so that we will build the one that will be telling the flesh what he should have; by the spirit of God, not the flesh telling us what we should have.
Number two: the second battle we must fight and overcome is the battle against afflictions and adversity. Psalm 34 :19 says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
That song says God never promised us a life that is free of trials, in fact, the scripture confirms that we are going to have trials; Jesus Christ said in John 16 : 33, He says, “ These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Isaiah 43: 2 says, “ When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Praise the living Jesus!
So troubles, as a matter of fact, your significance in the kingdom of God from scriptures is dependent not on the troubles you are able to avoid, but the troubles that you are able to gain victory over. Hallelujah! Your significance, the respect that heaven will have for you, your place in God’s kingdom is not determined by the number of troubles that you are able to avoid.
Most times we pray to avoid- nobody wants trouble, nobody pray for trouble, but if you look at the scriptures from Abraham to Moses to everybody to Joseph to Apostle Paul, greatness in God’s Kingdom, accomplishment in the eyes of God is not based on how many troubles you can avoid but on how many troubles you overcome. How you stand through troubles even when God comes to your aid or not.
In Job 2:9 -10, when job entered into a struggle, the wife said curse this God and die; Job looked at her and said, this woman you are talking foolishly. What God wants to see when we are going through afflictions, God does not cause afflictions or troubles, but God allows them for a purpose; the devil brings them; sicknesses, diseases, marital problems, delay in childbearing, all manner of things; that things will happen to believers sometimes; sometimes you are not careful, when things happen you begin to question your own faith, ‘but why is this happening to me, ah, I’m a believer, I’m a Christian’, so that’s why sometimes, Christians are ashamed to confess their position; you are sick, sickness or illness or you’ve lost your job or you have marital challenges, rather than speak out and seek for help, because something is happening, the devil is trying to destroy you, we say, ‘how can they hear from me, a whole Pastor, that I’m sick’; in fact when you want to go to the hospital, you’ll be judging inside that nobody from CTL will see me going to the hospital, you would disguise and then the devil loves to put us in isolation and deal with us, Hallelujah!
But these things are not strange to believers; the thing is that the devil wants to use them to destroy us; he knew the destiny that faced Joseph and he pushed him into the pit; took him out of the pit, put him into prison; but through it all, the faith of Joseph stood, his faith shone through. What God wants to see is that our faith should shine through, Hallelujah!
Moses sent twelve spies to go search out the Promised Land, when they were to go to Canaan; ten saw a frightful situation and they collapsed, their faith collapsed, but two, Caleb and Joshua said no; they saw the same thing but their faith shone through and God took them there.
In Babylon, Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego; when the king said, ‘you must bow down, don’t pray to your God, pray to me’, they said king, we don’t care about you, our God is able to save us, even if He does not, no problem; even in death, we are victorious; they entered the fire and God honored their faith.
What God wants to see when we go through these troubles, the devil means it to destroy it but God uses to elevate us; we grow in the kingdom of God by the challenges that we are able to overcome, because when we stand, God is looking at us; nothing faces God, even death of loved ones, even as sad as it is, all manner of things that happen to believers. Unbelievers may begin to laugh at you, if you are not careful, if you don’t know the God that you serve, you might even renounce your faith, but God is watching and once you pull through, that means you have shown that your God is able and God will now do that which no man can do, as He did in the case of job; as He did for Joseph; as He did for all the people who stood; so God wants to see it.
Our victory in affliction depends on how we react to affliction; it is our response, it’s not our power that will figure it, it is God’s power that will take you out. Three people go through the same sickness, two die from it, one gets out; the same treatment and all that, why? What’s the difference? It could just be their faith in God; two people gave up and said well, it’s okay; one said no, it doesn’t matter, if my healing would glorify God, so be it; if my death will glorify God, after all the life that I live now is not of my own, Christ has died for me, I’m crucified, the life belongs to God; in life, I belong to God, I don’t want to die, but God, unto Your glory; I know that even in death, whatever happens, I know that Your name shall be glorified, but I want to be healed.
Let God know what you want, but let God know that whatever happens, your faith is standing in Him. The devil wants to destroy our faith through afflictions and diseases and all manner of things; marital troubles and everything, but when God sees that we remain standing in faith in afflictions, in trials, He comes up and takes us out of the storm.
When the disciples were faced with the storm on the Sea of Galilee and the boat was sinking, they cried out; Jesus what was happening but He was sleeping; His first reaction when He woke, He said are you men of little faith? I just want to see your reaction, you have been with Me all this time, I know there is storm but I know, I’m just watching but look at the way you have reacted like some unbelievers; He said storm, stop.
He knew they couldn’t stop the storm, He was the One that would stop it but He wanted to see their faith, so let your faith. It’s not easy, I know, but we need to encourage ourselves and make sure that we live the life that God wants to live. Whatever we are going through right now, let your faith stand firm, let your faith shine forth, it is that faith that will ignite the power of God, that God will do what He alone can do and you will have a testimony in the name of Jesus.
The third battle we must fight and win is battle with Satan. So battle with ourselves, battle with afflictions and trials, battle with Satan. Satan is a deadly enemy; 1st Peter 5: 8, it says, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walking about, seeking whom he is going to devour”. Hallelujah!
But as I said earlier on, the devil is an external enemy, he is waiting for information, he is waiting for an opening in our lives, and the greatest friend of the devil is our self. Everybody can be tempted, nobody is above temptation; Bible says that God will not allow you to be tempted above what He has given you to resist. The devil will come and ask the body, body to the flesh, ‘Mr, what is happening now? How is his condition? It will say, ‘don’t mind him, blah blah blah’, he will give the information, this is where you are attacked.
So they work in collaboration and the devil is deadly; if the devil takes your legs and you are using crutches to walk, don’t think the devil will go, he is coming to take that crutches from you.
We need to be smart in terms of being vigilant in the spirit and understand the battle we are fighting, Hallelujah!
So the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:11, it says, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Stand there means your faith must stand; your trust in God must stand.
In Genesis 3: 1-7; Adam and Eve lost the battle to Satan and lost Paradise. If you lose the battle against Satan, it is deadly, especially if you are an unbeliever because you are fighting alone. No man by power by strength can prevail; the devil can attack anybody, nobody is immune to satanic attack, no matter how highly anointed, he attacked Jesus Christ in Matthew 4, the most anointed, Satan attacked Him; you can never be too holy or anointed or righteous that Satan cannot attack, nobody has immunity against Satanic attack.
In Daniel 10: 12- 13; Daniel had prayed and fasted but the devil stood against the answer from coming. He said you are praying and God has answered, all right God has answered, I’m going to stop the answer from coming; he went and made a roadblock against the angel that was bringing the answer. Many times we pray, God has answered but the devil is angry, so he goes to wage a roadblock; I declare and decree, every satanic roadblock against your answered prayer, this morning by power of God, is removed in Jesus name.
Every prayer you have prayed in your life and God said but I’ve answered you, but somebody – a strong man is blocking your answer from coming, by fire, that blockage will come down this morning in the name of Jesus.
How can we win these battles to become over comers? How can we win these battles?
Number one: you must surrender totally to Jesus, the commander of the Lord’s army. You cannot win these battles alone, no way, your wisdom cannot prevail; no man shall prevail by strength, Romans 8: 37, (part of the scriptures we read), it says; “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” You can only overcome these battles not by your own power or by your own strength, but through Christ Jesus.
Every man who has ever relied upon his own strength, Samson, relied upon his own strength, you know he was a man of mighty strength, he relied upon his strength but the little wisdom of a woman – of Delilah, a woman who has no physical might defeated the mighty strength of Samson. It was only when he now went back to God and said God help me again, that he was able to rise and defeat his enemies, but he died with them in the end, that’s why that didn’t glorify God.
What God wanted for him was that he would defeat and destroy his enemies, not that he would die, but it was his own foolishness that made him to die with his enemies, you will not die with your enemies in the name of Jesus.
So you must surrender fully, maybe you have given your life to Christ before or something has happened that you have said I’m tired, when I was not a Christian I was doing better; when I became a Christian, my business is going down, I don’t know what is happening again. Listen, when we come to Christ, we come with all matter of baggage, excess luggage, He has to trim you, take away the things that don’t belong to Him, the things that cannot be accommodated in His Kingdom and you become slim spiritually and everything; then He begins to pump you up with the energy of heaven, with the grace and anointing of heaven and then, you will become who God wants you to be, Hallelujah!
And if you have never known Christ before, you will just be coming to church; coming to church is not the same thing as becoming a child of God, you are just an attendee, we know you that you come but does Christ know you? On the day that trouble will come, you will say Jesus, Jesus will say but I don’t know you; but I come to CTL, I’m there every day, everyone even the pastors know me, but I don’t know you, He will say, but we have no relationship; many people call My name but I don’t know them, the only way I know you is I died for you and you accept that I died for you; surrender your life to Me, that’s how I can come into your life, that’s when you become My own, Hallelujah!
Number two: how we can overcome these battles and become victorious is that you must stop running from trouble. We don’t want to hear that you must stop running, you must stay and fight; when you run from the devil, he won’t run back, he will pursue you until he – the Bible says in John 10:10, it says ‘The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.’ Running will not save you from the enemy; how can you run from your own self, your own body, your own flesh, anywhere you run to, he is following you, Hallelujah!
Run from here to America, run from here to anybody, you are going with your enemy; the witches and wizards in your village may not see you but that one that is inside that you are neglecting is going with you everywhere and once your character, once your own self is your enemy, you will be attracting all negatives forces everywhere you go. You will say, ‘are they cursing me? What is happening to me? Why am I always…? No, it is the weakness of your flesh you have not realized that is your own enemy.
So you must stay and you must fight the fight of faith. Those who run from battle never have testimony of victory, Hallelujah!
Revelations 12:11 says we overcame the blood of lamb and by what? The word of our testimony. Those who run from battle, from confronting troubles and trials, they never have the song of victory; they never have testimony of victory; you must stand and fight. David stood and fought Goliath, but he didn’t fight with his own strength, he said today, I will show you that I serve a mighty God; he said the battle is of the Lord. While you are standing and fighting, you are not the one that is fighting, God is fighting with you because you know you are not alone, you are only calling God into the battle, whether it is sickness or these are marital troubles or delays, those things are invitation for God to come into your life more and more.
Don’t see your marital trouble, don’t see your delay in child bearing, don’t see your troubles that you have in your career, and you don’t see it as the fact that God is not there, God is there silently waiting for you to call upon Him, He never forsakes His own. The fact that you are having troubles and challenges is not evidence that God is not with you, it’s only that God is waiting to say my son, my daughter, I’m waiting now, call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will answer you. But that call must only come from a mouth that has said Jesus is Lord; from a soul that is standing with Christ; from a spirit that is standing.
The Bible says the spirit of a man is a light, candle of the Lord; that cry of battle for Christ to hear, to answer, must be from one who believes that Christ died for me and now I live through Him. So when I say Lord help me in the day of trouble, He says yes, I recognize your voice; the victory I got at Calvary was for your sake; but if an unsaved soul says Christ, help me; He says I don’t know you; I died for you at the cross of Calvary but you have not signed into it, you have not signed that agreement I made at Calvary, you have not put your name there, you have not appropriated it, you are only masquerading around like Nicodemus; sign into it, then you will see what I can do.
That is why He said be still, and see what the Lord will do. If you are not of Christ, you can’t be still, you will just be worrying yourself but when you are in Christ, you will be still in the storm and God will calm the storm in the name of Jesus.
Number three: you must resist your flesh. I must resist my flesh; I must be able to say no to my flesh, you must resist the devil. The Bible says you must resist the devil, Hallelujah!
James 4:7, resist the devil, he will flee from you. You must resist your flesh, you must resist Satan. Listen, I call it the ministry of resistance; to be an overcomer as a believer, you must enlist in the ministry of resistance, resist your flesh, say no to that evil craving, say no, no more, you resist the devil.
What do you used to resist? You resist by your faith. When Joseph ran from the wife of Potiphar, he was resisting by his faith; when David faced Goliath, he faced him by his faith; when Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego resisted the king, they resisted him by faith. Hallelujah! You resist by the word of God.
When the devil faced Jesus in the mountain, Jesus quoted unto him the word of God; there’s no power more powerful to resist the enemy than the word of God. There is fire in that word, hallelujah! It’s like a two-edged sword; so we resist in prayer and fasting.
The Bible says pray without ceasing; you resist in faith, you resist by prayer, you resist by fighting, you resist by the word of God, you resist by self-discipline, self-control; you may be anointed, you may be righteous, but if you don’t have self-control, your life – anything comes in; the flesh can’t control your faith, so you must resist by self-control, and everybody, you must resist by placing boundaries around your life.
You know a life that has no boundary is a land that can be trespassed upon by anybody. It’s like we have a piece of land, there’s no survey pillar, there’s nothing; anybody will come upon the land just like that because it’s a no man’s land. A life without borders is a land that is free for trespass by devil, by demons, by anybody; they just walk in your life, in and out because there are no borders.
You must know where to go, where not to go; who to go out with, who not to go out with; you must discipline yourself, it’s not everything that a child of God enters into; your life must have control. A life that has no control is a life that is susceptible to all manner of troubles and dangers; goats will walk into it, rat will walk into it, your life becomes a habitation for anything.
But when the enemy comes and he sees that there are borders around your life, spiritual borders and you have physical borders by yourself, he will say no, I’m not going to that place anymore; I’m not going to have contact with that person.
There are people you need to cut off physically; the people you need to delete their numbers in your phone; there are places you don’t have to go anymore, no matter how attractive they may be, no matter how helpful they are, if they are dragging you down and they are not helping you to go up spiritually, no matter their benefits, you must cut off; your life must have borders.
People may be giving you money but they may be pushing you to sin, you must cut off because that is a trap; that is the way by which the enemy is coming to your life, Hallelujah! So you must resist, you must surrender your life to Christ, you must stop running, you will stay to fight and then you must resist because at least there need to be the minister of resistance; enough of running, you must be able to say no to some things.
As parents, if we give our children everything they ask of, we don’t resist, we are endangering their lives; there are times to tell our children no, you are not going to have this, you resist that child, Hallelujah!
In conclusion, there are benefits for those; our life as believers, our Christian life starts from the time of salvation and then it goes on until the time we make it to heaven; but between the time of salvation and eternity, these are battles we must fight to become overcomer and there are rewards for the overcomer in the scriptures; Revelation 2:7 says that they shall eat the fruit of life.
Revelations 2: 10 says overcomers shall have the crown of Life; chapter 2:11 says that they shall not partake of the second death; there are so many blessings that come to those – not those who start in victory but those who end in victory, that way, there will be no time that your flesh will not be with you until you go to see the Lord; you can’t kill the devil, he has a purpose there to serve, but you must be watchful of him; so it’s a lifelong thing, there is no time you begin to say oh, I am going to reach my bus stop, I can rest now, no; a soldier that rests in the battlefront will soon die; we will not die in Jesus name.
Let’s rise to our feet, say to yourself; I’m a winner, I’m a conqueror, I’m an overcomer, not only now but to the very end. Please bow your heads, begin to pray; say Father, give me the grace to overcome all my battles in life.
If you are here this morning, you’ve heard this word and you want to say Lord, I want to win these battles; now I know I can’t fight it alone, all I need is Your help to help me; I want to enlist in Your army; I want You to become the Lord of my life so that you can fight these battles for me with me.
Wherever you are, raise up your hands so I can pray with you very quickly; I don’t want to begin to fight alone; you are saying Lord Jesus, I don’t want to fight alone; be brave, part of victory is being brave in battle; say the devil, you are a liar, from now, I’m not going to be alone anymore.
Say Lord Jesus, I’m not going to fight anymore, this is no longer my battle from today, I want to be in Your army; I want Your help to fight my battles; I’m tired of fighting. Stop struggling alone, these are battles that you cannot win by your own strength; no wisdom can win it for you; no man can help you. It is time to fight and win, it’s time to fight.
Church, say Father, from now, give me grace to conquer my flesh in every way, don’t let my flesh conquer me; give me the grace to conquer my flesh; keep praying that prayer. Father, give me the grace from now to conquer my flesh, to subdue my flesh; give me the Grace from now to conquer my flesh.
Say Father, don’t let my flesh destroy my destiny, in Jesus name we pray. Proverbs 24:10 says, “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Say Lord, from now on, give me the grace to prevail in the days of trouble; pray the prayers, Father, no matter the trouble, from now, give me the grace, is by grace, give me the grace to prevail in the day of trouble; no matter the trouble that may come my way, my life is in Your hands; give me the grace to prevail. Is it in your marriage, your health, your career, your finances, your children, Father, give me the grace to overcome the day of trouble.
You will overcome all battles; from today you will never fail again; as many as were dwelling in the valley of defeat, today, you are climbing to the mountaintop in the name of Jesus; neither the devil nor your flesh, nor trials and tribulations will defeat you anymore; the grace, the enablement, the anointing of God, the help of heaven will walk with you; you are no longer defeated; you are no longer conquered; you become an overcomer; you will prevail; you will be victorious physically, spiritually, materially; in every area of your life that you have been disappointed, you have experienced delay or disappointment, from today, you will begin to sing songs of testimony in the name of Jesus; thank You precious Father, in Jesus name we pray.
