If you believe in the song that you have just sang, I want you to shout a thunderous hallelujah! In the same spirit, I want us to just go before the Almighty God, let’s worship Him, let’s glorify His name; let’s tell Him, Father, we appreciate You, it is in You we have our being; thank You for Your mercy that is daily renewed; thank You for Your grace that You have made to be more sufficient for us; we are what we are today all by Your grace.
Let’s tell Him, Father, we appreciate You; thank You for the gift of life, thank You for the grace to be here, and thank You for the privilege to be on the street of glory, and I know by the grace of God, you will not be out of that street of glory, the light of God will come upon the darkness of your life and everything that is not of God shall be removed from you from today, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Ever faithful, ever glorious, dependable and reliable God, we bow before You this morning; thank You for who You are, thank You because You are a God of Your word, thank You because You are not a man that will lie, thank You because You are not the son of man that will repent. You are a gracious Father and You have the final say in the affairs of our life; thank You because You are the glory, thank You because You are our cover, thank You because You are our strength, thank You for bringing us this far, and thank You because You have what it takes to see us through, accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ, accept our praises in the name of Jesus.
Thank You Father for bringing us here one more time today, and thank You for the reassurance, we know that we can make it, our lives are in Your hand, and regardless of what may come our way, we know victories is sure for us. Every promise You have made, You will bring to pass, accept our praises in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, I commit all Your children unto Your hands, everyone under the influence of my voice, either physically present or online, Lord Almighty, let Your promises come to pass in their life; the promise of life, the promise of good health, the promise of daily renewal, the promise of mercy, because You said You will show mercy unto whom You will show mercy, you said in Your word that we shall not die but live to declare Your glory, every promise You have made concerning all Your children, Father, today we pray You will fast track into fulfillment in the name of Jesus Christ, and whatever it is that is standing between us and our glory, because You have prophesied to us this morning through the hymnal that we are right on the street of glory, Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, everything that is standing between us and glory, You will take away in the name of Jesus.
I pray that from today oh God, there will be a new experience in the name of Jesus. Your children will experience a fresh breathe of life, with respect to their heads, in their homes, as touching their businesses, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You will repackage everyone, You will redirect our life, You will take us to the place of grace, You will take us to the place of comfort, You will take us to the place of peace, and You will take Your people to the place of rest.
Thank You Father because You have answered, I pray that every activities of those who bring problems, those who bring discomfort, blackmailers, spiritual blackmailers, physical blackmailers, everyone blackmailing Your children today, Father blackmail them in Jesus name, and put an end to their operation.
You are the One from the beginning, speak to us today, release Your new glory and take us lofty high, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Praise the Lord!
Good morning church, my God will bless you. Brethren, today is the last Sunday in the month of August, and that tells us one thing that we are heading directly to glory; God has been faithful in the last seven months, and I have this assurance that if God could be this faithful to us up to this moment, tell me why He will not see us through the end of the year. So I want you to keep hope alive, don’t be intimidated, don’t listen to any music that creates fears, don’t listen to any preacher that tries to parade fears, ‘oh, we are entering into the ember months’, our own ember months shall be for testimony, it shall be for peace and joy in the name of Jesus.
Mark today’s date, the ember months will bring you increase, it will bring you enlargement, and of course, all through the months you will sing the songs of praise in the name of Jesus. So that is number one thing, hold it firmly with your left hand; they told us those days that keep this one in your left hand so that you will not eat with it, you know if you keep it on the right, the right hand is always busy, but on the left, is very safe and sound, so there is no cause for alarm.
Secondly, by the grace of God tomorrow, 6: 30 we will be meeting here for our usual prayer chain, let’s come together to seek the face of the Lord in prayers, and the theme tomorrow is ‘Victory Assured’. Victory is assured, that is another confirmation, and the text is taken from the Book of Psalms 34: 18 – 22. Please join us tomorrow, I look forward to seeing everyone of you, and the Lord will bless you mightily in Jesus name.
Isaiah 43: 18 & 19, that scripture has been our reference point for the month of August declaration, it says “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert”.
This morning, I will be talking to us on the topic “New Glory”. It was as if the choir saw my message for today when the hymnal said we shall walk on the street of glory, and I prophesy concerning everyone of you, that from today you will walk consistently, joyfully and peacefully on the street of glory in the name of Jesus,
New Glory is the theme, and the word ‘new’ in the topic today has no other meaning, except there is anyone here that wants to give me a different definition on the word ‘new’, new as in, N, E, W, I checked through my own small dictionary, and I saw that the word ‘new’ means new, it also means fresh. I don’t know if you have any other one, but for the sake of our deliberation, we restrict ourselves to the word new or fresh. And when you talk about new or fresh, you talk about something that has not been in existence, and a new start or experience is a promise from no other than God Himself in our text today, He said, for I will do a new thing.
Now ‘glory’, like I shared with us in the past, is a multifaceted word for believers in particular, in that it describes God’s obvious presence, beauty and splendor. It indicates the worth and value which often results in praise. So glory is also synonymous with heaven, and glory, as you might have known, is the opposite of shame. I pray today in the mighty name of Jesus that none of you will know shame.
In Proverbs 3: 35, the Bible says, “the wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools”; and also in Haggai 2:9, God said that “the glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts”. God is talking, not a man; God is talking, not a mere prophet; God is talking, and not a General Superintendent or a General Overseer. He said, in this place, I will give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.
So what this means in this, is simply that glory is in phases, it also presupposes that glory is in different levels. You can have old glory or a stale glory, and you may also have a new glory; and no wonder our text says that we should not dwell so much on the past, in other words, we just need to be intentional, because it is not impossible that you carry an old glory. Isaiah 43: 18 says, remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Brethren, like I said, you must leave the past in the past; a man that is running a race and consistently looking back will not make it to the finishing line. He said, remember ye not the former things, nor consider the things of old, (He said), for I am able to do a new thing. I want to beg all of you this morning to focus on the future, because there lies your salvation and redemption. Apostle Paul opined in one of his charges to the Corinthians in 1st Corinthians 15:41, he said “there is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of stars: (he said), for one star differeth from another star in glory”.
Brethren, I want to encourage you this morning, and I want to impress it on you that God has a great plan for your life, don’t let the situation around you to discourage you, don’t allow the current situations or experiences to make you want to throw in the towel, God has a great plan for you.
In Jeremiah 29: 11, He said, for I know the thought that I have towards you, the thought of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Brethren the thought and the best are God’s plans for you, He designed you to be above only and not beneath, according to Deuteronomy 28: 13, and I want to tell you today that your best of the best is currently loading. This is not a mere motivation talk, no, but I’m expanding it to you, what is in the Scripture, and the Bible tells us that after God has spoken, He looked for something by which He could swear, and He suddenly realized that there was nothing that is bigger than His word, and He now swore that by two immutable things, which is impossible for God to lie. Your best is loading, your best of the best is yet to come.
Apostle Paul told the Corinthians in 1st Corinthians 2:9, he said, but as it is written, eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. When you put this side by side Isaiah 43: 19, you will see some synergy, you will see a lot of correlation: there it says, I will do a new thing, now, it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Here, God was talking about the extent that He was ready to go to solve all our problems.
Now, 1st Corinthians 2:9 says, eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. I told you your best is loading, and that is the best of the best, and whether the devil likes it or not, you will not die before it arrives, you will not die before it is delivered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Lord Almighty God (we serve) is a God of possibilities, there is nothing He cannot do, Jeremiah said, He is the God of all flesh and there is nothing, and when the Bible says nothing, nothing simply means nothing that is too hard for God to do, and I want to assure you this morning that there is no condition that you are going through that is more than God or is bigger than God to resolve; the God that parted the Red Sea is still the same God that we serve, the God that promised to bring a pool out of the desert, that same God has not changed, what He has done before, He will surely do it, and He will do your own, He will do my own in the name of Jesus Christ.
God is a specialist in doing those things that seems to be difficult or impossible, because He likes reversing the irreversible; He has done it in the time past, and like I said, it is in His nature to do it again. If it was easy for God to create a way in the Red Sea for the children of Israel to pass, I can tell you, that God is a destiny changer, and I decree today by the apostolic authority that all of you will leave here better than you came. By the authority of heaven, standing on the righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ, none of you will leave here without being blessed in Jesus name. None of you will leave here without at least an assurance of breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ.
Brethren, when you look at the text, especially verse 19, I’ve seen deserts before, and I’m sure many of you too have seen deserts, you can travel several kilometers in the desert without seeing water. In fact, what makes a place a desert is for the fact that there is always a scarcity of water, but guess what, the God that we serve says look, it doesn’t matter the nature of a desert, he said, but because of you, I will create pool in your desert.
Yoruba has a proverb, won ni laarin igbago ni mariwo n s’eso (apologies to the non Yoruba speakers). Palm fronds, you’ll find out that in the midst of others, it’s always very beautiful, and I pray in the name of Jesus that amongst the multitude, God will beautify your life, God Almighty will make you a model, you will eat and you will be full, you will not be a victim of sickness in the mighty name of Jesus. In God’s miraculous way, your needs shall be met in the mighty name of Jesus.
See, God has a way of turning around stories, difficult situations; Elijah found himself (maybe) in the wilderness, no food, nothing, but guess what, God mandated an animal, a raven – in fact, I read about a bird bringing food for a man, the first and the last time in the Book of Kings. The first time it will ever happen, God mandated a raven to feed Elijah; when there was no water, God arranged his path to the place of the brook; I pray in the name of Jesus, I don’t know what you are going through, but God is going to work out your own raven, and your brook, He will create in Jesus name, He will take you to the place of your brook, you will not be thirsty, you will not be stranded, you will not be frustrated, and you will not beg for food, you will not beg for what to wear, you will not struggle in the name of Jesus Christ.
God said, I will do a new thing, and I pray that from today, in a very special way, God will convince you, you will see it, you will enjoy it, and you will live with it.
Brethren, God does not promise and not fulfill; He will not promise and not make good. Numbers 23: 19, it says, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? You know, when you are robbed of something, when something is stolen from you, when something is taken from you, and it’s resolved, they say look, go and make good. I decree today that everything that has been taken away from you, by whoever, will be made good in Jesus name. Heaven will make good for you; what people has stolen will be made good for you.
When we talk about ‘make good’, we talk about delivery, we talk about restoration, and it’s a season of restoration; whether the devil likes it or not, whether the enemy likes it or not, whether you believe it or not. God will do what He will do, and do you know why He will do it? He will do it on His own honor. Praise the Lord!
He’s a faithful God, He’s a righteous God; God will not just promise you water, but He’s going to give you a mighty ocean that flows from one region to the other, from one state to the other, from one nation to the other. You will not be thirsty in the name of Jesus; the blessings of God will be a continuous one even at a time like this, even after it.
So all we need to do (very quickly) is that we need to have faith in Him. The reason why I decided, by the grace of God, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, to talk to you on new glories today is simply to assure you about the plans of God for your restoration, God wants to restore you, He wants to restore your joy, He wants to restore your peace, He wants to restore your confidence.
He said, cast not away thy confidence, which hath great recompense of reward, Hebrews 10: 35. In fact, the greatest thing to throw away is confidence, once you throw away your confidence, you are finished. The spies that were commissioned to go and spy out the land, they went, 10 of them lost confidence, what they saw made them to lose confidence. They said, we cannot get there, the land we saw is a land that devour its inhabitants, in fact, we saw the children of Anak there, but the Bible says Joshua and Caleb stepped forward, they summoned courage.
You remember that when Joshua was eventually installed to replace Moses in Joshua 1, the Bible says be strong and courageous, that tells you the importance of courage. Joshua 1: 6 says, be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them. Brethren, you have a portion here, I have a portion here, I’m here to receive my portion, and I must get my own portion.
Caleb stepped forward and said, look, give me this mountain. It was said, the commitment has been made, I must get my own, whether the devil likes it or not, you will get your own.
God wants to restore everything that the enemies have taken away; the value we’ve lost in our currency, we’ve lost close to 1,000% of the naira; at a point, we got naira for 360, dollar today is – if you have kept like 10 million naira in a bank, you’ve lost value like 1,000 times. Everything that you have lost, the Lord will restore in the mighty name of Jesus.
In Job 8: 7, it says, though your beginning may be small, yet your latter end shall be glorious. Tell your neighbor you are work in progress, the best you is yet to be produced, the best you is not in the marketplace yet, what they are seeing is close to raw materials, by the time you come out, you’ll come out in glory, you’ll come out in power.
I love another thing that we sang in the hymnal, it says, when darkness always surrounds the life of a man, but when light comes, darkness will flee. I pray that when your glory emerges, darkness will disappear in the mighty name of Jesus.
Brethren, glory is ahead, just help me tell your neighbor, glory is ahead, it’s a season of a new dawn, it’s our season of new glory, and by the grace of God you will not be disappointed.
Bible says when the Lord turned around the captivity of Zion, it says we were like them… it will look like a dream where God will lift you up in the mighty name of Jesus. Standing on the authority of the Word of God, I decree this morning, your mockery will become praise from today; you will rise and never fail again; your glory will be from grace to grace, and from nothing to something, from nobody to somebody, if you believe, shout a better amen.
How did I know? He says, for I will do a new thing. God is talking to someone in the house this morning, cheer up, look up, success is loading, victory is coming, wipe off that tears, it is not yet over, greatness is loading.
Let me tell you if you don’t know as I round up, the Bible says the seed of greatness is in me, I don’t know about you, and guess what, we shall be great. Tell your neighbor, the seed of greatness is in me and I shall be great. The seed of greatness is in us, and we shall be great. If you believe you’ll be great, shout hallelujah!
Why do I take these things so strongly to heart? It is because of the confirmation that I have through the word of God in Psalm 89: 34, it says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips; brethren that is God, He will never lie, what He will not do, He will not promise you, whatever He says He will do. And I pray in the name of Jesus that all these promises will come to pass in our lives in Jesus name.
What qualifies you for the new glory? Brethren, the glory is only meant for people who are willing to have a positive change of mind about God. There’s a saying that you can take a horse to the water, but you can’t force it to drink the water, and they say if you are willing and obedient, Isaiah 1: 19, it says you will eat the fruits of the land.
So glory is meant for people who are willing to have a positive change of mind about God, people who are willing and ready to forsake their own ways and turn back to God, those who will not personalize the glory of God, aand will not personalize the blessings of His glory.
In Isaiah 42: 8, He says I am the Lord; that is my name! My glory will I not share with anyone; so anyone that will receive the glory must not be one that wants to receive the glory just for personal sake, will not be someone that wants to take the glory so that he could oppress others, but is someone who is ready to the share with others, to be a blessing unto the others. And like I said, the God we serve is a multipurpose God, He operates in standards, and the most revival is meant to reawaken the spirit of worship in the minds of people and also to project the Word of God in the hearts of all.

So I want us to rise on our feet and go before the Almighty God this morning, I want you to cry unto the Lord and say, Father, don’t let my own blessings pass me by today in the mighty name of Jesus. And if you are here, you have one restitution or the other to make, you have one confession or the other to make, I think this is about the right time for you to make it right now, bow down your head, talk to God and say, Father, I don’t want to leave here the same way I came; Father Almighty God, let me leave here with my own blessing, let me leave here with my own seal of Your new glory in the name of Jesus.
If you have any confession to make, please go ahead and make it. You are not talking to anybody, you are not talking to any pastor, I am a man like you, no pastor can save you, it’s only God that can save, so I want you to talk to God this morning, if there is anything you have done wrong, I want you to confess it, I want you to pray that mercy will prevail in your life this morning, in the name of Jesus.
And if you are here, you know that you are a sinner, there are things you do, and you know that they are not good, and yet you are doing them, you can never be partakers of the new glory. So I want to beseech you, wherever you are, just bow down your head just for a moment and say, Father, I confess my sin, in every area I’ve sinned against You, in every area that I’ve not really positioned myself for Your blessing, Father, Almighty God, please let Your mercy prevail for me this morning, in the name of Jesus, I have come, oh, Lord Almighty God, I want You to show me the right path out of my wilderness, Lord Almighty God, have mercy on me, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
If you have prayed the prayer of forgiveness of sin, you want God to come into your life, you want God to forgive you, you want to have an encounter with the mercy of God so that your own package as being held by the angels, currently they are holding it waiting for us to conclude this prayer before distributing the blessing.

Father in heaven, once again we want to say thank You; thank You for the entrance of your word that giveth life, and thank You for clearly and explicitly declaring Your word unto us today. We pray as we have received Your word, let it meet with faith in our heart, in the mighty name of Jesus. For those who have been convicted by the word, Father Almighty God, let their salvation endure in the mighty name of Jesus,
Forgive their past, write their names in the Book of Life in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray for everyone of us today, everyone of us, both here and wherever you are, that God will show you the right path out of the wilderness in the name of Jesus, God will give you a new glory amidst the wilderness of scarcity; God will give you a new glory amidst the wilderness of insecurity; God will give us a new glory in the midst of hardship, hopelessness, both around us and in our nation, in the name of Jesus. And I pray that the grace of God, and the mercy of God will prevail in every aspect of our life, thank You blessed Father, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed. God bless you!
