Jehovah Omere ya, the God that has done it; let’s worship Him this morning, let’s give Him glory, let’s give Him praise, let’s give Him honor; He’s worthy of our praise, worthy of adoration, the mighty God, the excellent Father, the Redeemer, the Sustainer, the God of our grace, the One that has kept us, this is 138 days of 2025, give Him praise this morning, give Him worship, give Him honor, give Him adoration; He’s worthy of our praise, worthy of honor, let’s praise Him, let’s adore Him, let’s glorify His name, it is in the name we live, it is in the name we move, is in the name we have our being, worship God this morning, worship our Maker, Jehovah Sabaoth, the God that is always there for us; the Jehovah that made us, the Creator, let’s worship Him, let’s glorify His name.
Worthy of praise, worthy of honor, worthy of adoration; He’s the most blessed, most glorious, Ancient of days; give Him praise, give him praise this morning.
Father we worship You this morning; the Ancient of days we glorify Your name; the One that was there before the mountains were made, we glorify You; Jehovah Omere ya we praise You Lord; the God that has done it, we say thank You, blessed be Your name oh Lord; thank You for the gift of life, thank You for putting breath in our nostrils this morning (oh Lord); thank You for waking us up (oh Lord) this day, thank You for 138 days of 2025, it’s been wonderful, it’s been glorious, we give all glory back to Your holy name Lord.
Father bless the work of Your hand this day, speak to us Lord Almighty, let Your children hear You directly and not hear from any man; the message You’ve sent to us, Lord let it reach us clearly distinctly this day oh Lord, and let us be doers of Your word and not just hearers alone. Lord let what we hear today affect us positively in the mighty name of Jesus Christ; thank You everlasting Father, we promise to return glory to Your name at the end of the service, in Jesus name we prayed.
Good morning, welcome to church this morning! I want to give all glory to God for the gift of life, it’s only the living that can come to church to worship as we’ve done this morning; I want to appreciate our father in the Lord, the Assistant Pastor in Charge of Region and Pastor in Charge of our province for this opportunity to bring the word this morning, thank you sir; and I want to thank the pastorate too for this opportunity, I have not and I’m not going to take it for granted, praise God!
We want to continue from where we stopped last week, we are still in the Explosive Growth Drive, it’s a month of emphasis on evangelism in the Redeemed Christian Church of God worldwide, so we are continuing from where we stopped as it were last week. The message last week was ‘Go and Make Disciples of All Nations’, and if I can recall in just one or two minutes, we heard about what Jesus Christ came to do, how He came to save and all the other things He came to do, so this morning we are going to continue from there and I’ve titled the short exhortation this morning as “Make Them Christ-like”.
After saving them, God says ‘make them disciples’, which is also the same thing as ‘make them like little Christ’, ‘make them Christ-like’, and our major text this morning is from Matthew 28:18-20, another one from 1 Timothy 2: 3-4; “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”, praise God!
1Timothy 2: 3-4, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior: 4who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
We’ve been told time and time again that we have been saved to save; Christ made it so clear in that word He spoke in Matthew 28 that we should go and make disciples of all nations, not just of Nigeria alone but of all nations, our Jerusalem and the entire world, praise God! It’s always been said that a man’s last word are very important to be taken note of, although for our Lord Jesus Christ we cannot separate His last words from the things He lived and died for, the last words He spoke was in that Matthew 28 and the instruction He gave to the disciples was that they should also go and make disciples of others; He was saying that as it were, I have made you disciples, you go and make others disciples as well, go and replicate what I have done for you, so His last words are very –
The very substance of His incarnation, of His life, His ministry and His death before He ascended, salvation of men, our reconciliation back to God, restoration of our dominion on earth and our liberty from Satan and His works are God’s purpose for us, incidentally the Open Heavens of this morning talked about fulfilling purpose, one of our purposes is to make disciples of all nations in addition to other things that God has asked us to do, He has made it clear in His word that He wants us to do that as well.
And when you compare the last words of Christ in Matthew and Mark, there’s a little difference between the two of them, let’s look at the one in Mark as well so that we can compare quickly; Mark 16: 15 – 18, and He said unto them, go ye unto the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover, praise God!
The major difference between what He said in Mark and Matthew was that it was only in Matthew that He said ‘make disciples of them’, He deliberately asked us to make disciples of others in the Book of Matthew, He doesn’t only want sinners to be saved, He wants the saved to become learners and followers of the life, message and mandate of Christ, praise God!
So what Vision 2032 is asking us to do is to just go out and just do that which Christ asked us to do when He was about to ascend to heaven, and He’s our example for carrying out these mandates, He didn’t just stop at preaching the gospel of the kingdom to the multitudes and sinners, He went further by gathering disciples unto Himself for something more.
Let’s look at Mark 3:13-14, Jesus gathered disciples unto Himself for the purpose of – and He goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto Him whom He would: and they came to Him. 14And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach. So He ordained them to be with Him and then so that He can send them forth to preach.
So He gave us as it were a model, so what He’s asking us to do is also that maybe we don’t necessarily need to gather 12 people but we can make them one after the other disciples; we don’t need to gather 12 people as He did, but it can be one at a time, it could be just like Pastor told us last Sunday, your gateman, your driver, the colleague at work, even your boss – disciple one at a time, and if you can do more than one at a time, fantastic, but He has asked us to do at least one at a time, so He didn’t just stop at preaching, He molded something for us.
Mark 4:33 – 34, Jesus molded us the example we need to follow, and with many such parables spake He the word unto them, as they were able to hear it. 34But without a parable spake He not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to His disciples, praise God! So there’s a grade – there’s a multitude and there are the disciples; He speaks in parable to the multitude, then when He gets to the inner circle He explains it to the disciples, praise the Lord! But the model for us is that we need to not just bring people to salvation but we need to disciple them, after bringing them to Christ we need to go after them, we need to find out how they are doing, their spiritual health should be our concern, praise the Lord!
We need to ensure that they grow in grace; let’s look at Luke 10: 1-3, after these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before His face into every city and place, whither He Himself would come. 2Therefore said unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth laborers to His harvests. 3Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves, praise God!
So what He did was that He expanded them later to become 70 and they sent them two by two to go and preach to the nations around; so He had 70 disciples, then another closer set of 12; there are 70, there’s the 12, and at His ascension there were 120 of His disciples gathered in the upper room as they began the spread of the gospel, so they have since that time spreading the gospel and today we have just as we were told last week, I think 1.3 billion Christians all over the world, so they started from there – the 12, the 120, the 3,000 Peter brought in on the day of Pentecost and so on and so forth to what we have today, praise the Lord!
After He spoke to the multitudes, He had closer encounters with disciples and they observed Him in what He’s doing.
So what are the effects of discipleship? What are the effects, what do we gain, what is the effect when we disciple people? It helps multiply the workforce of God; Matthew 9:35-38, and Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. 36But when He saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37Then saith unto His disciples, the harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few; 38Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest, praise God!
So we are the laborers we are talking about here now, sent forth: it is not just pastors, we are workers in God’s vineyard, He has sent us out even when you are not yet trained as a worker in God’s house, by the reason that you are a born again Christian, you have been saved, you are supposed also to be a co-laborer with Him and that’s what the explosive growth drive is all about; we as saved Christians need to go out and save other Christians, bring them to the fold.
Jesus tested the effectiveness of discipleship in carrying out the mandate by sending disciples out two by two, (we read that earlier) and they returned with the same result as Jesus, the gospel was preached, the sick were healed, the lepers were cleansed, the captives were set free, that’s what they came back to tell Jesus, (we can note that down in Luke 10: 1-20), they came back with results, good results that yes we went about just like You did, just like You molded it for us; we preached the gospel, the sick were healed, the lepers were cleansed, the captives were set free, praise God! Those are the effects of discipleship, they were able to replicate what Jesus Christ did.
Another effect is that the many places Jesus could not physically reach, His disciples went there. There’s a limit to what one man can do but there’s a lot that 70 can do, 12 can do, this congregation can do, the entire Redeemed Christian Church can do, praise God! Our General Overseer cannot go to everywhere, our Pastor in Charge of Province and Assistant Pastor of Region cannot go to everywhere, those in the region 20 should go too; He’s relying on you, He’s relying on me to be those that would do this with Him so we can reach more areas. So where Jesus cannot physically go to, His disciples were able to go there, those 70 were sent to where Jesus – I’m sure in that three years of ministry was not able to go to, so making disciples can make us reach to more people.
Then via discipleship, Jesus was able to multiply His efforts through other men, therefore He covered more grounds, that’s what I’ve just said now; you can cover more grounds when you have people working with you, you can go to more places, more people, praise God! There are nooks and crannies of Lekki that our provincial Pastor cannot go to, your own neighborhood, several places – northeast, northwest, they said it’s a very vast area not to talk of Lagos, not to talk of Nigeria, praise God!
So God is relying on you, He’s relying on me to go to where He will not be able to take the tracts to, to go to where the pastors alone may not be able to go to, to go to where only the members of evangelism alone may not be able to go to, praise the Lord!
And then let us note also that Jesus Christ disciples when He was on earth were the ones that gathered in the upper room to move on with the mandate after His death in Acts 1: 8-14; it takes the truly committed to carry on with the work, praise God! If you just come to church on Sunday like this, enjoy the ambiance, enjoy the music, enjoy everything, you go home, you mind your business, you are not the truly committed; it’s only truly committed that can take it further and I pray that God will make you truly committed in Jesus name.
Jesus instructed the disciples to reach the world because they had been trained to do it, He trained them to do it, praise God! Part of what we are doing here especially when you now choose to go to the believer’s class to go and train as a worker is making you ready, training you for this purpose. Matthew 4:19, and he saith unto them, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men; so He trained them, they learned the character of Jesus Christ to become more effective, and that’s what we learn in the believer’s class, in the workers in training, even in church like this, in digging deep, faith clinic, Tuesdays, Thursdays, we learn more, we become more Christ-like and then we are able to commit the work to more people, praise the Lord!
In the ordinary life, people move from being a novice in a trade to becoming apprentice, from apprentice they become what some trade call journeymen, and after journeyman you become an expert, praise God! I was reading a book recently, it talks about the trade of carpentry and driving as examples of how you move from novice to expert; the novice is the one that just come in to the trade for the first time; He called Peter, they were fishermen, follow me, they were novices as at that time, then later they became apprentices, he and the others He started training them, learning.
Maybe we can relate with our everyday businesses like tailoring, like carpentry; they take the man to a senior person, please train this young man for us, he’s probably coming (maybe) from a village, from wherever as a novice, then he becomes an apprentice, maybe they can say he’ll be watching how the man is cutting the clothes, maybe tailoring, carpentry, watching how the man is doing things, he’s still an apprentice at that time; then he graduates to a stage where he becomes a journeyman where the master can just say okay you go and do that, he is training to a stage where he can trust him to go and make that furniture; the man will supervise him, he will check ‘have you measured, have you done this, have you done that’, but he knows that this particular guy has gotten to a stage where I can leave him to do some things, I can ask him to go and sew maybe he can do buba and sokoto for now, the ones that are not very complicated go and sew it let’s check, after you’ve cut it let me come and have a look, that is the journeyman, praise God! Then he becomes an expert where the master does can say okay this guy can do it, let him do it until he now is independent to go and do his own things, that is the way Jesus Christ trained His disciples.
The call is different from the commissioning; He called Peter, He called them, then later they became so good that they were now commissioned to go out and make disciples and that’s the way we should grow too in grace, we shouldn’t just remain as novices forever, and we should not be contented with being an apprentice also forever, and we should also not be satisfied with being journeymen, we need to move to the stage where we become experts, it’s a life-long thing that we need to do.
So we move from there, even in driving too, the first day you go to the driving school you are like a novice, later the man will allow you to handle the steering, that is like the stage of an apprentice, then he later takes you to the third mainland bridge, allows you to drive, just sits by your side until a time comes when you can go for your driving test, that’s the way you are becoming slowly an expert, praise God! So we have been saved to save, we need to do this, Jesus Christ has given us an example which we need to follow, praise the Lord!
Now how do we run with the mandate given to us by Christ? He is our perfect example, how did He carry out His own assignments so that we can have that as example for us? Matthew 4: 23-24, and Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of diseases among the people. 24And His fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those that were lunatic, and those that had a palsy, and he healed them, praise God!
So that is what He has asked us to go and do, the fact that you touch somebody and he does not receive healing the first time does not mean you should not try again; and who tells you that the healing might not come two weeks time or three weeks time, it might still come through even a medical doctor but maybe you are the one that started the process, so don’t let us be discouraged, He has given us a perfect example, we are to carry on in that example. Let’s look at Matthew 9: 35-38, and Jesus went about all the cities (just like we read earlier) and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people, (you can just leave it at that because that’s almost repeating what Matthew 4 said), so He went about preaching everywhere, so no one will be saved if you don’t preach, it was mentioned last week too, if we don’t preach, how will they hear the word?
So we need to preach, we need to talk to people, some of us are a bit reticent and I’m one of them too, I don’t like talking to strangers and I don’t want anybody to come and – I’ve had examples in the past, tried to distribute tracts, you will give to someone and he will just throw it back at you, we don’t like it, I don’t like it, but I’ve come to a stage that it doesn’t bother me again; in the past I feel bad, if you throw it back I’ll pick my thing up on the floor and go on, praise God!
The point is that if you don’t preach how will they hear? So we need to preach; just like it was mentioned to us last week also here, it doesn’t matter whether they abuse you, insult you or ignore you, just do your own, praise God! Sow the seed, you don’t know when it will germinate; so no one will be saved if you don’t preach, many will perish in darkness if you don’t preach, it’s our preaching that God uses to stir faith and repentance whereby others can now be saved. Romans 10:10-17, (let’s just look at Romans 10 first, then the other ones we can read when we get home) for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation; so we need to preach first, and preaching is not necessarily like what I’m doing here now, preaching is just like talking to somebody – talking to your colleague at work is preaching, your life can preach, in fact that’s the most effective one.
I remember one of our digging deeps recently, (I think) about three weeks ago somebody – a security man gave an example of their boss, they are in a team working as a team, the leader of the team happens to be a Christian and I’m going to use the word unfortunately a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, he didn’t set a good example; they gave funds to him to distribute among the members of the team and he was short changing them; the man that was giving this report was like his assistant and he didn’t like it, he felt embarrassed also being a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God as well as him, he was cheating his men, let me use the right word, he was actually cheating them, maybe they asked him to give them #10,000, he was given only two or whatever, (he didn’t mention the amount) but he was cheating them, but the sad part of it was that they moved him eventually, they now brought another person, another head who happens to be a Muslim and that one now gave them the right thing, he did the right thing, gave them the amount – #10,000 was #10,000, when the Christian was there he was short changing them, he was not just a Christian he was a born again Christian, not just a born Christian, a member of Redeemed Christian Church of God, that is embarrassing.
So we need to be careful, our life preaches and I’m sure he probably will go out with his church team on evangelism too distributing tracts, that man will probably go out because they know in that team that he was a Christian, not just a Christian, member of Redeemed Christian Church, so he tells them, he throws at their faces, don’t throw your Christianity at anybody’s face, let your life preach to them, praise God!
I know places where I’ve worked before, communities where people say ‘ah pastor’, they call people pastor because they say it to them; before you speak two three sentences ‘I’m so and so’, so they call them pastors, some do it in a derogatory manner and that’s also sad, they call you pastor in the workplace knowing that you are a very dishonest person, it’s not meant to raise you if you are doing it in a derogatory way, you don’t need to hide who you are but let them know on their own, praise the Lord!
It’s important that we do that, we need to be Christ-like, He went without preaching; God committed the messages to preach and the ministry of reconciling the world to Him, He committed it into the hands of all believers – all believers, not all pastors, not only the General Overseer, to all and I believe I’m talking to believers here now; the mandate came with a message to be preached, so He has committed the work to all believers. 2 Corinthians 5:17 – 20, the message has been committed to all believers, therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
So He has committed the work to us, believers, not necessarily church workers, not necessarily pastors, not necessarily senior members of the pastorate, He committed it to all believers, and the mandate came with a message to be preached and it lets us know also that if you do not preach, the provision that Jesus Christ made via His death and resurrection will be for nothing over the lives of countless people since they did not hear about it, that would not be our portion in Jesus name.
Our not preaching is like making Jesus Christ death to be in vain, and when I’m saying this I’m saying it to myself too; all through last week, at least I can say here now boldly that I’m not sure I preached to anybody, that’s the challenge for this week, talk to somebody, whoever. I remember Reverend Adegboye, (I don’t know whether you’ve heard about him before), he said when he was starting out he would be preaching to empty tables, practicing, preaching to the chairs in his dining room, ‘you must receive Christ, you must do this’, so when you get used to doing it, you are able to do it a bit more.
Just like Jesus, you must continue to run with the mission to get more people to hear the message of the gospel via multi-dimensional evangelistic efforts. Thank God for what we have now -;social media and everything, we can do a lot of things, we can preach a better way than when it was done in the past, Jesus preached to only one, He did one-on-one, the woman by the well, that was a one-on-one; He preached also to multitudes in Matthew 5: 1-12, (we can read that when we get home, we can note that) and He preached to a household, small groups, the household of Lazarus, the household of Zaccheus the tax collector; so it doesn’t matter, it could be one-on-one, it could be a large group, it could be multitudes, so don’t wait until they call you an evangelist before you start preaching, that’s what this is saying to us in effect, praise God! So you can preach to a household, you can do it as a house fellowship center, you can do it as we are doing now, you can then do a big evangelical meeting
Jesus also preached the gospel everywhere He found Himself – among family, friends, strangers, marketplaces, synagogues, workplaces, random places, He preached anywhere He finds the opportunity to do so. John 4:4, He met with the Samaritan woman and He saw it as an opportunity to preach, so what that means is that let’s take every opportunity we have as a chance to preach. Some of us most of the time and I also feel guilty of this one too, you will sit in a plane for six hours, Lagos to London with somebody, you will not utter one word, or if you utter one word you are talking (maybe) about Nigeria, how Nigeria is so bad, how somebody is not doing his work, you will not preach the gospel, six hours you are locked with that person, he cannot run away from you, in the plane you cannot just keep standing up and going back and forth they will say what is wrong with you, so the man has to sit and listen to what you have to say, praise God!
And the worst case is that he will say don’t disturb me but at least you will try, he can say don’t disturb me and you will just say sorry, just take this you can read it later or when you are free tell me so I can talk; he won’t say don’t disturb me for entire six hours now, he might want to be polite and say please I want to sleep, and after you’ll say so are you okay now, you’ve woken up, you are all right, can we talk now, we don’t do it, I don’t do it and I’m talking to myself now, maybe next time. God saves the person that will sit next to me, I will disturb him or her but if he says shut up I will shut up, in fact if he says shut up I will say why did you ask me to shut up; let’s do this, (I don’t want to use the word stubborn), let’s be a bit stubborn, if they are stubborn be stubborn too but be polite, very polite because that can also make your message negative.
So let’s do it more, some will sit with people for 14 hours 12 hours in the plane and they won’t say anything or be saying rubbish to them, they won’t even know that you’re a Christian; He preaches anywhere, so let’s preach wherever we find ourselves – strangers, whoever, members of our family.
Jesus also healed the sick and cast out devils using His authority to destroy the work of darkness, that is also part of our mandate, to pray for the sick and deliver the oppressed, don’t be afraid to pray for the sick, just like conviction to become Christian is not your duty, you are not the healer, once you pray in the name of Jesus Christ, believe God for healing for that person, and if you find that this one is – that does not disturb you from praying for the next person next time, do your own, you never know the day that the thing will work well for you, praise God!
So let’s pray for the sick and deliver the oppressed, He has asked us to do that; Luke 10: 17-20, and the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. 19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you, but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. So let us not be afraid to pray for people, when they bring the sick to you to come and pray for them, don’t worry, pray, do your own, at least you know how to pray, whether the thing now happens immediately or it does not happen, that’s not your real business as such, just pray, believe that God has heard you and He will hear you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
So what we are saying in effect as we conclude is that we have been given a mandate, let’s go out and do it and it does not matter that we are not formally trained as workers in the church, although it’s ideal to be trained, it’s ideal to go to believer’s class if you want to work for God to be properly trained because there are some things they tell us during the training just like I mentioned about being a novice to apprentice to journeynman, it makes you better, praise God!
I remember when I was not yet a trained worker, I can look back and see the difference between my life then and when I became a worker, it humbles you a bit especially for those of us who are already high in our careers, it makes you a little bit more humble. Thank God for CTL, in those days in my church in Ikeja, we wash the toilet ourselves and the toilets don’t have tiles, acme of those days; acme is now very much like this place but back then it was dead floor, the church auditorium too you have to clean it every Saturday in preparation for service on Sunday, those were the things we were taught to do.
I was a very senior person in my office at that time but I joined in doing it, it doesn’t matter whether the person sweeping next to me is my messenger in the office, we were doing it together gladly, I learned that, praise God! So it helps us a bit, I’m not saying those who don’t go for that training don’t know how to, I’m not saying you cannot preach, you can preach, you can do all sorts but it helps if you go for formal training too, it makes you a better person.
The most humbling yet terrifying truth is that Jesus is no more with us physically, though He’s present in and through His church, He wants us to do what He was doing through His church, so it depends, He trusts that we will continue with the vision and mission of the Father to bring all men back to Him; He trusts that you and I will carry on the mission, He’s not here physically, He’s with us, He lives in us, He gave us the Holy Spirit that lives in us but He has entrusted the work of reaching out to people to us, are we going to fail Him?
As we bow our heads to pray this morning, let’s begin to reflect, are you going to fail Jesus Christ, are you going to make His death on the cross of no effect, are we going to betray that trust because He’s trusting us to do this work, are we going to live up to the call of God for our lives? As we begin to pray this morning, make a personal reflection and make a decision too (if it’s possible) that from now on and I’m doing my own too, I’m going to ensure that I don’t betray this trust, I’m going to speak to those around me, whether they listen or not is not my business, I’m going to preach to them, I’m going to say it to them, I’m going to tell them about salvation, I’m going to tell them about the gospel; anytime I’m traveling with anybody whether in the plane, motor vehicle or anywhere that somebody is by my side, I’m going to tell him about Christ and I’m going to (like we said earlier) let my life preach to them, to my children, to my spouse, to my neighbors.
Pray this morning that God will grant you that grace so that you can be able to preach the gospel to those around you, but if you are here this morning and all we are saying you don’t even know this Jesus Christ yet as Lord and Savior your own case is a bit different, you need to come to Him this morning to first accept Him as Lord and Savior so you can join this group of those He has entrusted the work of gospel to, are you here this morning you want to receive Christ maybe that is because of you that this message has come…
[Altar call]
Heavenly Father we want to thank You again for the word You sent to us this morning; thank You for the explosive growth drive that is going on in our church at this time, we pray Lord Almighty as You’ve told us, we pray that we will not betray Your trust.
We pray Lord Almighty that as we go on in this week, especially this week, we will go and make disciples of all nations, we will preach to those and we’ll preach in season, we’ll preach out of season, we will not be tired, we will not be weary of doing this work in the mighty name of Jesus Christ; thank You heavenly Father, blessed be Your name King of glory, in Jesus name we prayed.
