Father in heaven, we want to say thank You this morning; if all the hairs on our heads are tongues, they are not just enough to express our gratitude, You have done so much for us, You have been so kind, You have been so wonderful, You have been so gracious, You have been so merciful; as a matter of fact Lord, it’s of Your mercies that we are not consumed because of Your compassion that faileth not.
Thank You for preserving our lives from the first day of this new year up to this present time; thank You for the six ladders that we have crossed successfully and thank You for bringing us to the seventh one. Thank You because You that has began the good work, You are more than able, capable of completing it, and so Father Almighty God, we have this assurance that this second half of the year shall be better than the first one in Jesus name.
So Lord, as we have come consciously to give You praise today, Lord we pray You will accept us, You will accept our worship in the mighty name of Jesus. Whatever might be in us that the devil might want to use as an excuse, Father, today take away in Jesus name.
Lord Almighty God, we’ve been talking about fire in the last few weeks or months, Lord we pray, because fire is one of the essential change agents in the ecosystem, Lord we pray that Your fire will bring about the most needed change and make our life pure and great in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for all Your children who have been faithful in the payments of their tithes and the giving of their offering, Lord Almighty God, we pray that in their lives, let there be fulfillment of Your words in Jesus name.
I pray for all Your children here today and those who are listening to us online, Lord Almighty that in blessing, You will bless everyone in Jesus name. We pray that none of us will leave Your presence empty handed in Jesus name.
As a matter of fact, we beseech You Lord that You will bless us much more that by the time we are leaving here, we’ll leave here with that conviction and the manifestation of Your goodness in our lives in Jesus name. We ask Lord of heaven that You will take all the glory today, thank You blessed Savior, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
Good morning church, I greet all our daddies, mommies, brothers and sisters in the house and I would like to say happy new month to every one of you, it’s our month of divine refreshment and we trust God that we will be refreshed in the name of Jesus. The lead text is taken from Jeremiah 31:25; I trust God that before this month expires, everyone of us will testify of the Lord’s refreshment in Jesus name; we will testify of the Lord’s renewal in the name of Jesus.
God Almighty will activate His divine agenda for your life, for my life and for our lives altogether in the name of Jesus. And of course, we will see good in the land of the living in Jesus name. God bless you, good to see you and good to have you here, the Lord bless you mightily as you take your seats in Jesus name.
Today we are here for one business and that’s why we go against the norm by saying you should dress in your best and we do that to express our gratitude to the Almighty God today, at least for seeing us through the first six months of the year, and I have no doubt in my mind that as we thank God for what He has done in the first half, He will do much more for us in this second half in Jesus name.
Let me seize this opportunity to welcome our brothers and sisters from the National Praise Team; I think it’s a long time we have you, thank you for finding time to join us here today in Christ the Lord Parish, and once again, I trust God we’ll have a refreshing time; we have come for one business today and that’s the business of praise. We decided to dump our ties and our suits for once to come and express ourselves in the presence of the Lord, we are going to have a good time.
The first service is always very loaded and short because we have to do it very fast so that we can join our father in the Lord and by the time that is out of the way, then we come back to express ourselves in the best way possible, so the Lord will bless everyone of us today in Jesus name.
By the grace of God, we’ll continue with our prayer chain tomorrow at 6:30pm; last week Monday we started a series of Changing Your Destiny Through Faith, and of course, text was from 1st Chronicles 4: 9 & 10, so by the grace of God we’ll continue tomorrow, so I look forward to seeing everyone of you and the Lord will bless you in Jesus name.
Before I give you the first course, (you know baba is going to serve the main course), the first course, the national praise team will lift us to the moment of His presence in praise and worship.
Acts 16: 25 – 31, “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. I pray and I trust God that as we praise God today, there will be an earthquake; at the center of your challenges, there shall be an earthquake, and every door that has been shut will be open in the mighty name of Jesus.
27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house”. May God bless the reading and the hearing of His words in the name of Jesus.
Brethren, a man of God once said that it is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. God will never go wider for you so that you go for Him, that’s just the truth. Quality intense praise is one of the most profitable spiritual engagements for provoking what I call the supernatural manifestations and refreshment. Quality high praise is no doubt a covenant trigger for divine refreshment. When I talk about quality praise, I talk about quality praise, and what we have just seen is just a tip of the iceberg because today, we are going to have real praise in the sense of it.
The word of God says who is like unto thee oh Lord, among the gods, who is like thee; glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders, that is Exodus 15:11. So what that simply means is that fearful praise provokes His fearful acts, and that is the truth, there is no way to flow in the supernatural continuously and effectively without a platform of praise.
So today by His grace we are here, not for regular praise, but we are here for what I call a wild, fearful and quality praise, and the purpose is simply to trigger or to activate the supernatural because when Paul and Silas decided to create that engagement, there was a supernatural breakthrough on them.
And I want to say to you today that you won’t change your level until you are able to change your praise level; the simple key to changing your level is by changing your praise level. When you praise God, He will raise you up; Bible says when I’m lifted up, I will draw men unto Myself; so in other words, the more you praise Him, the more He’s committed to raising you.
So it is very important to let you know that there is great risk, (and I say this with every sense of responsibility) in not praising God and that risk according to Psalm 28:5 is destruction. But my prayer today is that none of us shall be destroyed in the name of Jesus.
It says, “Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up”. So if you want to reverse that, the simple thing that is required of you, the simple thing that is required of me this morning is simply to regard the works of the Lord and the operation of His hands and that is exactly what we have come to do today because failure to do actually attracts destruction.
So praise is a covenant obligation for which you and I have got no option; as Christians, as believers, praise is a covenant obligation and there is no shortcut to it, it has no alternative to it and as that is already clear, we are all aware of that, then it behooves sensible people like us to do the needful.
Now, what are the wonders of praise?
Praise is a platform for provoking the fulfillment of prophecy. To see this prophetic agenda fulfilled, you must set an order of praise; a classical example in reference to this is 2nd Chronicles 20: 17 – 22, as the people of Judah began to sing and praise, God took over their battles as He has said, so praise is part of the cardinal warfare we engage in to see the fulfillment of prophecy.
As you praise God today, every prophecy that has been made before now will be triggered to fulfillment in the name of Jesus.
Praise is a platform for divine intervention. When Paul and Silas were in prison, they praised God and the Bible made us to understand that there was an earthquake, and immediately that earthquake happened, God appeared on the scene for their liberty.
I have this on good authority and I can assure you today that as we praise God, there will be a divine intervention in your life; there will be a divine intervention in your home; there will be a divine intervention in your business, and of course, your business, your finances, everything about you will experience a divine intervention in Jesus name. Why? Because God will appear, and wherever God appears, there’s always a manifestation of His glory.
So on this note I will draw the curtain and I want to encourage us to please stay tuned as we join our father in the Lord, the Lord will bless you in Jesus name.
