Please check out your neighbor; if your neighbor is not dancing, just look at him or her face, you are not carrying the problem of Nigeria on your head and if you have come to church today with any issue, the Lord will relieve you of them in Jesus name.

Father, from the bottom of our hearts we want to say thank You; a billions of thank You are not enough and we have nothing else to offer today, from the bottom of our hearts without any reservation we say thank You for all that You have done; thank You for life; thank You for hope; thank You for joy; thank You for strength; thank You for peace in our nation; accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You for grace; thank You for compassion; thank You for what You have done; thank You for what you are doing; thank You for what You will continue to do; glory be to Your name in the name of Jesus Christ.
For January we want to say thank You; for February we want to say thank You; for the third month, the month of March we want to say thank You. Thank You for victory; thank You for victory; thank You for victory over sickness; thank You for victory over death; accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank You for this new month because we know there shall be open heaven; there shall be release of Your power; there shall be manifestation of Your grace; there will be great and divine possibilities. In this month of April we know that our joy will overflow; take all the glory Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We commit everything we shall do unto Your hands, take control in Jesus name. Let Your mercy cover for us; let Your favor surround us and let Your decrees be sufficient. Thank You glorious Father, I pray for all Your children who have been faithful in the payments of their tithes and in giving of their offerings; Father Lord Almighty that You will reach out; let every promise You have made concerning tithing not pass them by in the name of Jesus. And more than ever before Lord Almighty God, You will surprise them in Jesus name.
Fight their battles; defend them; support them; encourage them; deal with the case ahead of them and give them testimonies. As we continue in this service Lord, come along with us; do that which only You can do and whatever does not have Your approval, let it not come out and at the end of everything let us be blessed, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed. And the people will say a better amen!
You will help me shake hands with four people and you will say welcome to the month of divine possibilities. You know this is the month of Easter, by the grace of God by this time next week Sunday we will be celebrating the Easter Sunday, and the theme that came to mind was that theme of divine possibilities.
I shared with the workers and ministers this morning that it takes the power of God to raise a dead of four days; it takes the power of God for stones that several number of men put on the sepulcher to roll away on its own; and I said what God cannot do when it comes to solving problems does not exist. And that’s why I have this assurance that this month, iyanu a sele; I said wonders will happen and you will testify to the goodness of God. So please be positive, be focused and of course keep hope alive, and all shall be well in Jesus name.
By tomorrow God’s willing, we’ll be having our prayer chain and the theme for tomorrow is the power of your confession. What you say, the impact of what you declare concerning yourself and concerning others is very critical to your breakthrough. Psalms 37; you know we like to whet your appetite on a day like this in preparation from the meal to be served by our esteemed father in the Lord; before that moment we’ll give you the first course, then as soon as it is time we’ll link up, and after that we’ll do our thanksgiving and the church will be over.
Psalms 37: 4 & 5; I started this discuss with us last month during the thanksgiving service but we could not finish and I promised that we’ll round it up today; Psalms 37: 4 & 5, it says “Delight yourself also in the Lord; and he shall give the desires of thine heart”. (It says) Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”
And I remember I shared with us what the word delight is all about; and among the several definitions that I gave was the fact that delight means to gain great pleasure, satisfaction and of course happiness; and delighting in the Lord as captured in our text, I remember I pointed it out that simply present us with a subtle condition to receive from the almighty God.
He said delight yourself in the Lord, that’s Psalm 37: 4; it says “Delight yourself also in the Lord; and he shall give the desires of thine heart”. You know oftentimes, our focus is on the later part of the scripture than the first part which requires us to delight ourselves in Him; but as humans, we are always concerned about our needs and desires and care little or a little about God’s desires and expectations.
This same scripture presents us very clearly with our responsibility to God and His commitment towards us if we play our part. So in other words, the scripture presents us what I call dual responsibilities – one to be discharged by us from our end and the other one, based on the condition that we have done our part, God will now grant unto us the desires of our hearts.
God expects that we gain pleasure and satisfaction in Him and like I said, He wants us to be totally and completely entrenched in Him. In Proverbs 3: 5 – 6, it says “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (It says) In all thy ways acknowledge him, (and what will happen?) he shall direct thy paths”. This also reinforces our scripture about what should be our responsibility in order for God to be identified with us.
And I remember I shared with us that there are many reasons why we should delight ourselves daily in the Lord; I shared with us about grace – the great grace. Grace as we all know is unmerited favor which can only be drawn freely from the throne of God; and I shared with us that it is this same grace that found us when we were lost in our sin.
Our salvation is a product of the same grace according to Ephesians 2: 8, because we realized that no man can save himself, it’s only God that can save a man. The best a man can do is to share the word, but ultimate power of salvation belongs to God.
I always say when people say you know I’m a soul winner, I’m a soul winner, sometimes it’s like going too far; the ultimate soul winner is God and I take my witness from the book of 1st Corinthians 3: 6, it says “I (Paul) have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase”.
So sometimes when I see people genuflecting, grandstanding, ‘you know I’m a soul winner’, you know how many thousands of souls I’ve won’, I would say wow, thank God for mercy; but for mercy, all of us would have be gone because it amounts to appropriating the glory of God.
Paul, one of the best apostles of his time as captured in the Holy Scriptures said I have planted, Apollos watereth, but God gave it increase. The God factor is what is known as Divine Providence, and I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that in all your encounters beginning from today, you will enjoy divine providence. It is that same grace that brought us here today.
Apostle Paul said in 1st Corinthians 15: 10, he said I am what I am today all by His grace. I am what I am by His grace. The positive effect of grace are too numerous to mention because like I said, grace brings about redemption; grace repositions; grace remembers; grace repackages; grace makes what is not enough to become more than enough. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that nothing shall undermine the grace of God upon your life in Jesus name.
We also talked about mercy and compassion and I said that God’s abundance mercy and compassion is something that we can never comprehend because He is merciful and that’s why we can stand before Him whiter than snow under the cleansing blood of Christ.
When I hear people say oh you know I’m a holy man, I’m a righteous man; who is holy? When the Bible says for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but thank God for the mercy of God; thank God for His great compassion. A songwriter said ‘the steadfast love of the Lord never ceaseth and His mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, new every morning (up till this moment), great is Thy faithfulness oh God, great is Thy faithfulness.
Where will we be but if not for the mercy of God? The Bible tells us clearly in James, it says ‘for mercy triumph over judgment’.
I also spoke on the word and we took our scripture from John 1: 1& 2 which says in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And I’ve said it again and again that God and His words are two inseparable entities; the Word was an instrument of creation and everything so created by God including you and I are products of His unfailing words.
If you read the Bible, the Bible says ‘and God said, and God said, and God said, and everything God said came to life’. I pray in the name of Jesus that God will speak to your life today; God will speak grace to your life today; He will speak favor into your life today; He will speak blessings into your life today; He we speak obedience to your life today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
And because of time we stopped there, so today I want to take the next one and that is delighting in His presence. Psalms 16: 11, the Bible says “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: (it says) in thy presence is fullness of joy; (and) at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more”. Brethren, in His presence there is fullness of joy; and at His right hand there are pleasures forever more.
His presence is critical to our existence; no man can live for a moment or accomplish purpose in life without His presence. I guess it was that same knowledge that made Moses to desperately request of God for His presence when he was to embark on the journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. You remember in Exodus, Moses spoke to God, he said except You go with us, we will not go and God said My presence will go with you.
I pray that from today you will be carrier of presence of God in the name of Jesus Christ.
In James 4: 8, it says “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. (It says) Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded”. How cool is that? The Creator of heaven and earth is more than willing to draw near to you if you will but live into His presence through praise, prayer and meditation on His infallible word.
Now number next; you must delight yourself in soul winning. The Bible tells us, it says “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth”. [Music]
Soul winning is a heartbeat of God and guess what? There is wisdom in doing same, because Proverbs 11: 30 says “The fruits of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise”. Brethren, there are tremendous blessings attached to soul winning. As a matter of fact, the number of souls God helps you to bring to Christ will determine the number of crowns or star that is in your crown.
I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every one of us hearing me today will take a decision on preaching the gospel. The Bible says how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good tidings, beautiful are the feet, and that connotes something.
When you are talking about beauty, normally it comes from the face or the physique, but God is referring to the feet – He said how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good tidings of Christ. My prayer today is that God will empower us and He will enable us to preach the word, because the Bible tells us in Romans, it says faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
So when Paul was saying I have planted, he was not talking about planting corn, he was not referring to yam, but he was referring to the word that they have shared with the people. Amen! And of course Apollos watered by consistent follow-up, and that’s why we have evangelism unit, we have the follow-up unit so a group will sow the word but the responsibility of sowing the word is a responsibility of everybody, every believer, because like I said, soul winning actually represents the heartbeats of God, and you know when your heart stops beating, you know what has happened. So God is ‘threatened’ when we fail to perform or deliver in the area of soul winning.
So if you want to get great pleasure, if we want to experience total satisfaction and complete happiness, then He be ought us to delight ourselves in the Lord through soul winning.
And number next is for you to delight yourself in obedience. Brethren, one of the major keys to a successful walk with God is our obedience. With obedience, you don’t need much to do with religion; our religious activity and a lot of other profane stuff that we engage ourselves in today, the Bible tells us in Isaiah 59: 1, it says the Lord’s hands are not short, nor His ears dumb to hear and to deliver us; (it says) but our iniquities have separated us from God.
Let me challenge you a little; there are many of us today, we move from one prayer line to the other; three hours on one prayer line, you jump away from there, you attend another prayer line, meanwhile your spouse is suffering, your children are suffering; there are many of us keeping malice; there are many of us doing the unthinkable but we join from one prayer point to the other; we move from one mountain to the other.
The Bible tells us in 1st Samuel 15: 22, it says “And Samuel said, hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? (It says) Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams”. The fat of rams there could stand for the number of prayers and places you go for prayers; you can pray from now till eternity, if your character, if you are lacking in Godly character, I can tell you it’s a waste of time.
I want us to check our conscience as believers; Galatians 6: 7 says do not be deceived for God is not mocked; it says whatever a man soweth, the same shall he reap. Let me tell you one thing like I always say, God answers prayers; God is still a miracle working God; the God of yesterday is still the same thing as today.
The Bible tells us Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever; He has not changed. The challenge we have today is with us, check your heart, what is your character? There are many of us nobody can come near us; many of us we have no friends and they will come and say you know me I have no friend; if you say that, shame on you because the Bible says if you show yourself friendly you will have many friends, it’s in Proverbs. If you show yourself friendly you will do what? Because life begat life.
Even when people want to befriend you and you are always looking coarse, like one baba senator told me some years back that I should try to look coarse, and I said I don’t know how to look coarse because he has tribal marks and I was already grown, I cannot go and put a line on my face.
Proverbs 18: 24; “A man that has friends must shew himself friendly:”;you are not friendly you will not have friends; if you don’t have friends check your life, it’s a character issue, it’s not about principalities and powers; if principalities and powers are involved, they just help you to complicate it, obedience is key.
I was talking; I said today, we are in the world, a world of believers without character; you pray but keep malice; you claim to pray yet you abandon your responsibilities; you pray and serve, yet nobody can touch your things; the question is who is deceiving who?
In Isaiah 1: 19, it says if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the fruits of the land; that is my prayer for every one of us.
And lastly, there is wisdom in delighting yourself in the Lord. Very quickly, wisdom is the correct application of knowledge; doing the right thing in the right way whether it is convenient or otherwise. Proverbs 4: 7 says wisdom is the principal thing. You need Godly wisdom to overcome every challenge in life, and of course the Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 10: 10, it says wisdom is profitable; it says “If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, (in other words you sharpen it), it says then you put more strength: (it says) but wisdom is profitable to direct”.
If you apply a blunt axe, it’s a matter of time, you are not doing the axe, you are doing yourself because you’ll be exhausted. But wisdom will tell you you need to sharpen this thing so that it can be effective and you can achieve result.
So suffice to say that, it is in that that you get answers to your heart desire.
How do you do it? It is by making the Lord your personal Lord and Savior and all that is required is simply inviting wisdom, and if you ask me who is wisdom? I will tell you Jesus is the wisdom of God.
In Acts 4: 12, the Bible says “Neither is there salvation in any other: (it says) for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” except by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, (as I round up) for those of you who are saved already all you need to do is to yield yourself fully to God with the earnest desire to please Him all the days of your life and find (what I call) happiness and enjoyment in Him, but if you are here and you have not yet given your life to Christ, something tells me you cannot have a better time to do that now.
The scripture says today is the acceptable time; so if you hear His voice today, harden not your heart; today is the day of salvation, so if you are here as we’ll all bow down our head wherever you are, I want to humbly request that we all bow down our head wherever you are; so if you are here you have heard the word this morning and you want to say yes Lord, I yield myself to you, I want to surrender my life to You, can you please raise up your hand wherever you are.
It’s a voluntary thing, (God bless you) don’t be forced but make sure you have that conviction. You want to say yes Lord, I Surrender my life to You; I yield my life to You from today; I will live my life in line with Your preset; I will live my life in line with Your word.
Much as I don’t want you to be forced to come but please if you are convinced within yourself, I will request you to please come to the front; it is God that is calling you and I can assure you the moment you have this encounter, your life will not remain the same and delighting yourself in the Lord will be a very simple task for you because His grace would have been given to you, the mercy of God will find expression in your life and you will begin to live your life as God expects you to live, and once God is involved in your life, the Bible says then the desires of your heart will be granted.
Please don’t wander between two opinions, you have had the word and don’t struggle with the word; as you come forth today surrendering to Christ, His grace will be multiplied unto you; Jesus will encounter you; mercy will encounter you and your life will not remain the same.
The rest of us shall we rise on our feet and I want us to take this simple prayer, I want you to pray to God that Father, Father, help me to delight myself in You in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, help me to delight myself in You; help me to delight myself in You; help me to delight myself in You.
You are going to ask God; Father, help me to delight myself in Your grace in the mighty name of Jesus. Help me, help me to delight myself in Your grace. Grace is an unmerited favor that can only be drawn from the presence of the almighty God; pray to God this morning; Father, help me to delight myself in Your grace; help me to prioritize Your grace; help me to cherish and apply Your grace, and so shall it be in Jesus name we have prayed.
We are going to pray to God and say Father, help me to delight myself in Your mercy and Your compassion from today in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord; Father I need Your help; I need Your grace to delight myself oh God in Your mercy and Your compassion on daily basis in the mighty name of Jesus. Remember it is by His mercies that we are not consumed; because of His compassion that faileth not; we misbehave on daily basis but the mercy of God is always there to keep us and to plead our case, so I want you to pray to God; Father, help me to delight in Your mercy and Your compassion, and as you do that I pray that we will continue to enjoy the Lord’s mercy and compassion now and always in Jesus name we have prayed.
You will pray to God; help me to delight myself in Your word. Jesus Christ said the word I speak to you, (He said) they are life and their Spirit; Father please help me to delight myself in Your word; help me to hold Your word sacrosanct; help me to walk on the basis of Your word.
David said your word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you; pray to God; Father almighty God, let Your word be shed across in my heart so that on daily basis I can be guided by Your word, so shall it be in Jesus name.
The scripture that we read, Psalms 16:11, it says thou shall show me the path of life; when you delight in the presence of God, He will show you the path of life and He said in His presence there are pleasures, not pleasure but pleasures; peace, love, joy, well-being, everything cool, environment decent; no threat, no intimidation, no blackmail. So I want you to pray to God and say Father, help me to delight in Your presence every day of my life in the mighty name of Jesus. Help me to delight in Your presence; help me to delight Your presence every day of my life; help me Lord not to forsake the fellowship of Your people and of course the fellowship with the Holy Spirit; blessed be Your name forever more, in Jesus name we have prayed.
The Bible tells us that wisdom is profitable to direct; so I want you to cry unto the Lord and say Father, help me to treasure Your wisdom; that your God-given wisdom, help me to treasure it, and Lord Almighty God let my life be directed oh Lord Almighty God by Your wisdom in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord; Father in the name of Jesus, govern my life with Your wisdom in the name of Jesus. Thank You Father because you have answered, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
The Bible says how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good tidings of Christ; so I want you to pray to God this morning that please help me Lord to be the carrier of the good tidings in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord; Father please help me to be carrier of the good tidings in the name of Jesus; help me to be carrier of the good tidings in the mighty name of Jesus; help me to be carrier of the good tidings, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
And lastly, pray that Father, it’s a tough one but the Bible tells us that the commandments of God are not burdensome. In other words, working in the lines of God’s desires and expectations is a possibility; so I want us to pray to God this morning that Father, please enable me and empower me to work in obedience to Your word all the days of my life in the name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord and say Father almighty God, I need that enablement, I need Your empowerment to work oh Lord Almighty God in obedience to Your word now and always in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You Father because you have answered, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I join my faith with yours and I decree that God will give us the grace to delight ourselves in all the areas and even much more that we have mentioned in the mighty name of Jesus Christ; and by His grace and by His power, we shall eat the fruits of the land in Jesus name. Blessed be the name of the Lord forever.
I decree that this month will be a month of open heaven; the month of profit; a month of victory; a month of recovery; a month of divine possibilities; what is not enough in your life before now for good will become more than enough. You will encounter destiny helpers; you will encounter willing helpers; you will encounter compulsory helpers; and all through this month and the rest of this year, you will never sing the Lord’s song in the foreign land. Every good thing the Lord has done for you the enemy will not be able to touch it; you are blessed; you are preserved; you are defended; you are covered; you are shielded. So shall it be in the name of God the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
You will eat the fruits of Nigeria; you will eat the fruits of service to God; and above all in the kingdom of God, you will not be found wanting; the gate of mercy will not be shut against you, and it shall be well with you in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
