I told the worshippers in the first service that whatever you want to do today, please do it in a noisy way. If you are praying, let it be noisy; if you are claiming whatever God has for you, do it in a noisy way, because I know today is your day.
I want you to pray and say my Father, my Father, arise and cover me with favor; surround me with favor. Go ahead and pray. While others are rejected, Father, favor me; while others are forsaken, let me be accepted. In Jesus name we pray.
I want you to say a prayer with all your mind (and you will say it after me); say every throne of darkness legislating disfavor into my life, in the name of Jesus, catch fire. Go ahead and pray. Father Almighty we want to thank You; we give You all the glory because You are a great God; we bless Your name because You are greater than the greatest; You are the Unchangeable changer; You are the Unmovable mover; You are the Uncausable causer; Father, accept our worship in the name of Jesus.
Lord almighty, we thank You for what You did in the first service, and we are thanking You in advance for what You are going to do now, Father, accept our worship in Jesus name.
Lord I pray, that You will encompass us with favor like a shield in the name pf Jesus. Every throne of darkness legislating disfavor against our lives, I decree, be destroyed in the name of Jesus. Every coalition of forces planning to eliminate us at the peak of our lives, Father, destroy them in the name of Jesus.
As we go into Your word, go with us; bless us oh Lord, in Jesus name we pray. Go ahead and shout hallelujah!
I’d like you to shake hands with your neighbor and tell him or her, you are highly favored. Say it to your right and to your left, say you are highly favored. Shall we please be seated.
I give God the glory for bringing me here today; I can see the glory and the beauty of God radiating in your faces; I pray that you will keep on shining in Jesus name. I want to sincerely appreciate our pastor, my friend, for this opportunity he has given me today to minister in this glorious church; we sincerely appreciate you; we also appreciate our mommy; the Lord who has been supporting you will continually lift you higher in Jesus name. To all our daddies and mommies on the altar, you are highly appreciated. Let someone shout hallelujah!
Before I go into the sermon, I want to encourage you, during the course of the sermon and the time we shall be praying, whatever you want to say, please say it in a noisy way. For example, there is someone here, wherever you go in the journey of life, you shall be favored.
Like I said in the first service, I want to say it now, blessed are the noisemakers for they shall be highly favored.
They may ask you sir, where is that one written? Well you’ll tell them it is written according to the epistle of SATGO admin. If God can hear your voice today, He will cover you with uncommon favor. Go ahead and shout hallelujah!
In the first service, I preached on Wealth Transfer, and I’m sure that you can listen to it YouTube or on Facebook, but this second service, I am led by the Spirit of God to speak on “Access to Favor”, and I’d like to prophesy, wherever you go all over the world, favor will trail you.
I am taking my text from Psalms 5:12, “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous (the Lord will bless you today); with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield”. I prophesy, as many as are listening to me now, God will surround you with favour. Ensure that from the beginning till the ending, anytime you need to say amen, let your voice be the loudest.
There is someone here; people will be begging you to favour you. one of the blessings God has given to the righteous is to compass him round with favour; that is why the Bible says that God will bless the righteous, He will compass him round with favour. As you continue with the journey of life, the Lord has brought me here today all the way from the national headquarters to declare unto you that as from today, you shall be favoured. Where others are rejected, you will be accepted. Where others are turned down, you will be celebrated. Where others are standing, you will be outstanding, in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is saying today, He is going to bring down upon you uncommon favour.
I’d like to ask you a question, you’ll reply by saying ‘uncommon favour’; please sir and ma, what is your middle name? When we are talking about favour, what is favour? I know that there are many definitions that have been given to favour, but let try to give three and then tell you what to do to have access to favour: when we are talking about favour, it simply means God smiling at you.
The Yoruba language translates favour as oju rere (good face). There are some of you, you have been seeing the other side of God but as from today, you will see His good face. I’d like to declare unto you today, God will smile at you; He will smile at your business; He will smile at your career; He will smile at your family; He will smile at your children.
When you read Numbers 6: 24-26, the Bible talks about favour; it says, “The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:” When the face of the Lord begins to shine upon you, that is favour. I’d like to tell you that as from today, wherever you go, wherever you find yourself, God will smile at you.
A classical example can be seen in Esther 5: 1-3, let me just tell you the story; there was a time when an enemy was waging war against the Jews and the queen (by the name) Esther needed to see the king, and it was a tradition in the land that until the king stretches forth his gold scepter, nobody is permitted to go in. And yet, desperately, Esther needed to see the king, and she made up her mind whether he stretches forth the golden scepter or not, I will go; if I die, I die; if I perish, I perish.
The punishment is that if you go to the inner chamber without the king stretching forth the golden scepter, the fellow will be killed and Esther made up her mind that whatever happens, I will take it. But when you read the story, as soon as Esther went out into the palace into the inner chamber without the king stretching forth the golden scepter, rather than for the king to rebuke her, the Bible says, the king smiled at her and said Esther, queen, you have obtained favour, I love thee more than everyone, whatever you want me to do for you, if you can tell me, I will give unto you up to the half of my kingdom.
I prophesy today; wherever you go in Nigeria, wherever you find yourself all over the world, the almighty God will smile at you. And because God is smiling at your career, after this service, your career will flourish; because God is smiling at your business, after this service, your business will bloom; and because God is smiling at your ministry, after this service, your ministry will blossom.
Say my Father, my Father, smile at me today. if you want God to smile at you, you better begin the smiling; smile and say Father, smile at me.
Number two, when we are talking about – of course I gave an example to tell them the meaning God smiling at you in the first service. Maybe because of those of us who were not around, let me share the testimony; I said I found myself one day in the American embassy here in Lagos, before I got there, because of the traffic jam on the third mainland, I got there late. When I approached the gateman, the gateman said, ordinarily, we should have sent you away but because I like you, he smiled and opened the gate for me.
I’d like to prophesy, after today’s service, doors will open unto you. but to cut the story short, when I stood before the young white lady conducting the interview, before I got there she has been denying people visa, ‘you are not qualified, you are not qualified’, and I told the people in the first service that I don’t know how to lie with all my anointing, when I saw that she has denied three people ahead of me visa, my legs began to shake; but when I stood before her, the lady smiled at me and said ‘what a nice bow tie you wear’.
She kept on smiling and I was wondering, let’s go into the real business; I was – you know the way Professors will gather materials, I was asking – I’ve checked all, she said mehn, I love your bow tie. Rather than for her to check the documents, she didn’t check, she went ahead and gave me two-year visa and gave my wife two-year visa.
I decree, in all the places they have been frowning at you, by the time you return there they will smile at you. This might appear funny but the Lord says there is a woman here; the last time your husband spoke to you he was frowning at you, by the time you return after this service, he is going to embrace you with a smile. Let someone shout hallelujah!
Number two, when we are talking about favor, it means God showing special interest in your case. Tell your neighbor, don’t write my conclusion; look at him or her and say don’t write my conclusion; you are not my creator, God will show interest in my case.
When the almighty God, when people around you begin to show interest in your case of cases, that is favor. There is someone here; those who have written you off, those who thought that nothing good can ever happen to you; as from today, they will begin to show interest in your case.
There is a story in Genesis 39: 2-4, it’s the story of Joseph; when Joseph was in the prison, let someone shout hallelujah! And when he was in the house of Potiphar, house of his master, the Lord showed interest in his case and he became prosperous. As from today, in all the places they have written you off, ah, they will return to celebrate you.
I want you to place your right hand on your chest and say I am a candidate of favor. When we are talking about favor; it is not by qualification, it is not by merit.
There are some of you here, listen to me; the kind of blessings greater than your age; the kind of blessings greater than your qualification; by favor, you will begin to receive it.
The Lord asked me to tell someone; this week, favor will locate you. Let me share another testimony with you to let you know that when you are favored, God will show special interest in you; where others fail, you will succeed. I needed to attend an interview those who attended the interview before me said just go and try your luck; people don’t pass the interview once, that you might need to do it maybe twice or thrice before you can get it; but while I was going something told me my case is different. I don’t know about you, I said your case is different.
So when I was parking my car, I didn’t know that the head of the panel saw me in the car; he has seen a logo of RCCG on the car; so when I got before the body, he said young man, are you ready for your question? I said yes sir. He said question one; are you a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God? I didn’t want to jump but I would have told him I’m not just an ordinary member, I’m a pastor; but I said yes sir.
He said question two; I was wondering what is this kind of interview? He said question two; how is Baba Adeboye? I said Baba Adeboye is fine. He said question three; where is Baba Adeboye? I didn’t know whether he has traveled or not, I said he is at the Redemption camp. He looked at me and said, youngman, you have passed. The kind of favor that will give you the kind of breakthrough nobody has ever received in your profession; receive it in the name of Jesus.
Even with my stupidity, I still said oga, let us go into the real question and the man said, I said you have passed; nobody can fail Baba Adeboye’s son and still succeed, you have passed.
I decree today, where others are failing, favor will speak for you; where others are denied promotion, favor will speak for you. Where others cannot get to the top, favor will take you to the top. Lift up your two hands and say I’m highly favored.
When we are talking about favor, it means receiving special kindness; special favor that you don’t deserve, if you deserve it, it is no longer by favor. Am I communicating? Then it will be by merit. Special kindness; there is a wonderful story in 2nd Samuel 9, let me just tell you the story if you read from verses 1-8; David stood up and said is there not yet anyone remaining in the family of Saul?
And they went to bring one man a Layman called Mephibosheth; David showed him a special kindness and said Mephy, as from today, you will be staying in the palace; you will be eating presidential dishes. He told Mephibosheth, today, we will be dwelling together and Mephy looked at himself and said how do I deserve this kind of honor? A lame dog like me.
Listen to me, I don’t know why God has brought me here today; the kind of honor, the kind of decoration nobody has ever gotten in your family, in your career, in your profession, even in this church, my Father will give unto you.
Let me end this session by saying favor is not fair, f-a-i-r; divine favor is not fair. While others are working, you will be eating. No wonder if you read Esther 8: 1, the Bible says Haman built a house but the house was given to Esther. In the name that is above every other name, others will work for you to eat.
Lift up your two hands wherever you are and say I am highly favored. The Lord asked me to tell someone, He said relax, where your children are, they will be highly favored.
I was sharing another testimony with someone; I said by this time last year, I was pastoring in Edo State; I was the regional Pastor in Edo and around June or July, my wife and I sat down because we know that in Redeemed, when convention is coming, transfer may be likely; especially if you have spent up to five years. As of last year, we had spent five years in Edo and we were calculating; suppose we are transferred, where can we be transferred to? There’s what is called ‘pastoral calculation’; (your pastor knows what I’m talking about) and we began to mention churches.
The truth of the matter is that if we were to mention 100 churches, we wouldn’t include the national headquarters, but by convention by favor, favor took me to National headquarters. Where you never imagine you can get to in life, favor will take you there.
But where I’m going is this; if you want to have access to favor, there are some spirits and forces you must wage war against. Within my limited time I will mention seven of them and we will pray. I have told you what is favor, but if you want to have access to favor in life, there are some spirits you must wage war against. Are we together?
The first one is called ‘the spirit of hatred’. When you are being afflicted by the spirit of hatred, favor will be far away from you. What is hatred? Hatred is an act of dislike; when people begin to express dislike to your personality, to your character, to your career, to your profession, that is hatred.
You will see some people, you have not offended them, for just no reason they hate you; they express dislike to you. If you don’t do anything about it, it can make favor to elude you. Am I communicating?
There is a story in Genesis 37: 5; Joseph was a young boy, he dreamed and he told his brother; come and listen to the dream that I dreamt. The Bible tells us that ‘and they hate him yet the more’. That is the spirit of hatred.
I want to pray that every arrow of hatred; every arrow of dislike that the enemy is firing at you, in the name of Jesus back to sender. Some of us favor has eluded us because of the attack of hatred; for no reason people would just say when I see her I will just be annoyed; they would have promised to help you, they would have promised to do good to you but once you appear, that hatred will come into form, but I decree today in the name of He that has sent me here, every yoke of hatred upon your life is broken in the name of Jesus.
With holy anger, wave your right hand where you are seated and say bye bye to hatred in my life. Don’t let them wave it unto you, say bye bye to hatred in my life.
That’s number one, number two; there is a spirit called disfavor. I want everybody to please say disfavor. This spirit usually make favor to skip you, I will explain; four people may be around, number one is served, number two is served; you are number three, instead of moving to you they will just jump from number two to number four. Then it is the spirit of disfavor that is at work; it makes favor to elude you rather than for favor to trail you, favor will just skip you.
You would have been wondering, I possess the same certificate in the way she possesses it; I have the same qualification; that is why you see some young ladies, they are pretty, they are beautiful, then, nobody to marry, because there is a spirit of disfavor at work. But I decree today, every yoke of disfavor in your life is broken.
There is a story in Esther 2: 1 – 10, we won’t read I will tell you; you know when the king was looking for a queen, for a wife, they got some ladies ready, are we together? The Bible tells us that all these ladies were virgin, they have not defiled themselves, no corruption; they gave them what the Bible calls ‘purification right’; they prepared them for about two years before they would appear before the king.
Did they have any offense? No, but the day they were to appear before the king, among them, only Esther was favored; all of them had the qualification, they had the certificate, they could speak English like the queen but yet, because of disfavor, they were set aside. That is an example of disfavor, it will make favor to skip you.
It was only Esther that was highly… not that Esther possessed something extra, was she more qualified? She was even a slave girl; the same perfume they were using, that was the same perfume Esther was using, but favor spoke for her sake, but because these other virgins who are being tormented, afflicted by the spirit of disfavor, they were not chosen.
I decree, every attack of disfavor in your life is nullified in the name of Jesus. Go ahead and shout hallelujah! I prophesy, after today, you will be favored; people will beg you to favor you.
Number three; there is a spirit called ill-luck. When this spirit is at work in anybody’s life, it will make tragedy, misfortune, disaster, to trail you about, and the fellow will be saying I can’t even understand; I’m moving from one tragedy, from one misfortune to another. That will never be your portion, and if that spirit is afflicting you, today, in the name of Jesus, the yoke is broken.
You are going on your way, you are not the one causing trouble but trouble is following; you didn’t invite misfortune but misfortune is trailing you, that is called the spirit of ill-luck. Every garment of ill-luck in your life, ah, it will be roasted by fire.
I want you to shout as we are seated and say ill-luck, roast by fire. This is the kind of spirit that the devil evoked against Job; if you read Job 1: 13- 19; in one day, misfortune, tragedies, disaster came upon Job; he lost his business empire in one day; he lost all his children in one day. I pray for all our parents, you will not bury any of your children.
You know at the end of the day, Job set himself naked and said ‘naked I came, naked will I return’. I prophesy, every force trying to strip you naked, Holy Ghost fire will consume them. Push it back; I want you to say I reject ill-luck; they are pushing it to your side and you are also saying ehm; say it loud and clear.
That takes me to number four; there is a spirit called anti-help spirit. I have discovered that in the journey of life you cannot survive alone; you can’t succeed alone; you can’t make it; you need the help of others. Am I communicating? You need the help of destiny helpers; they are the people God has strategically positioned to help you in the journey of life. Let someone shout hallelujah!
It reminded me of a funny story, God will send helpers to you. In those days, the first time I went to daddy GO’s office; I saw him and I came out; I entered into the secretary’s office; I left his office and I came out, and it was a computer door. I was the only one there, the other door has been locked; I was waiting, I wanted to open the door, I could not open the door. I didn’t know that there was a switch behind a corner that I would just press; I was trying to open it as a classical boy and the door refused to open, and then I was sweating, I said God, send help.
Then one young boy, maybe about four years old came from the office; it was like an angel, big daddy, what is your problem? I said the problem of big daddy is that he doesn’t know how to open the door. Big daddy, why are you sweating? I said this door refused to open. He said big daddy, it’s not as difficult, you see this switch, press it and the door will open; and I pressed the switch and the door opened.
So in the journey of life, you need a helper. Am I communicating? You can’t succeed alone, but then there is a spirit called anti-help spirit; when this spirit is at work, he drives away helpers from you; nobody will be willing to help you; even those who have promised to help you, when you get there, they will tell you sorry, I have changed my mind, no more help, there is nothing we can. This is called anti-help spirit. You need to wage war against it so that you can have access to favor. Am I communicating?
Look at the man in John 5, the man at the pool of Bethesda; read it from 2 – 8, for 38 years, nobody to help him after the water has been troubled. When Jesus Christ saw him, he said I made effort; I will be going but someone will overtake me by the way. As many as I’ve overtaken you in the journey of life, by favor you will overtake them.
So you need to drive away anti-help spirit, but I prophesy with the anointing of God upon my life, every anti-help spirit that is driving away destiny helper from you, the yoke is broken today in the name of Jesus.
Lift up your two hands and say Father, send destiny helpers unto me so that I can have access to favor. Go ahead and shout hallelujah!
I move to the next one, I will try my best within the time; there is a spirit called seeing and not tasting. In my language it is called ‘ojulofiri,ete re o ba’; it’s a bad spirit. There are some people, oh, they are selling fuel in their filling station and you will queue from 9 till 11, and when it is your turn, ah sorry, the fuel has finished.
There was a woman who said, ha see me the way I suffered; I got to that filling station by 9am, they were selling fuel; I decided to queue, it was my turn, my car was already beside the pump for them to put the pump inside my car, they say ah, the fuel has finished. That is the spirit of seeing and not tasting, am I communicating?
When this kind of spirit is working against you, you may not be able to be favored, and that is why I pray today, the yoke will be broken in your life.
Permit me to use this example, though it may not be palatable; I know a man in the Redemption times or whatever, they have published his name that he has been appointed as a provincial pastor; everybody has been congratulating him; that one happened on a Sunday or Monday, by Wednesday something happened, they change his name. He saw it, he couldn’t become it, and yet people are still congratulating him, But I stand here today, I decree, the good of Nigeria, you will not only see it you will taste it.
This was the kind of spirit that Elisha evoked against the deputy king when he prophesied in 2nd Kings 7, that a measure of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel. I’m sure you remember the story and two measures of barley for a shekel. The king said even if the Lord opened the windows of heaven, it can’t happen, and Elisha said you will see it but you will not taste it.
Read the story; he saw it, when he was about to taste it, people stampeded him and he died. But I prophesy, you will see it. In fact, I want you to touch the side of your cheek and say I will see it and my mouth will taste it. All these kind of spirit that has been making favor to elude you, I decree, in your life the yoke is broken.
Number six, that one is called the spirit of forgetfulness. When this spirit is in action, you would have done something good that you must be rewarded for, rather than for you to be rewarded you will be forgotten. Isn’t that terrible? You have done something; others who did it are being decorated, instead of you to be decorated, they will just say well, it is out of my mind. It makes your helper, the people that should favor you, to help you, but I decree, in all the areas you have been forgotten, today, the forgotten shall be remembered. I said by favor, the forgotten shall be remembered.
A classical example is in Genesis 40: (I think around verse) 23; when Joseph interpreted the dream for the chief baker and the chief butler, he told the chief butler you will be restored into your butlership, but when you get there, mention
my name to Pharaoh. But look at what the Bible says; “yet did not the chief butler remembered remember Joseph but forgot him”
And when he got back to the position, he forgot him, he didn’t remember. There are some of us, we have done something good, something great that you would have been promoted for, they have forgotten you; but after this sermon, get ready for decoration because the forgotten shall be remembered.
You know the story of Mordecai in Esther 6; Mordecai avoided the coup for a king, instead of Mordecai to be promoted, he was forgotten; but one day, the king could not sleep. All those who are very instrumental to your promotion, they will not be able to rest until you are promoted.
And Mordecai was decorated with honor. By favor, after today’s service, you will be decorated with honor, with glory, with promotion, with wealth and with anointing.
Number seven is called blackmail. This is the spirit that makes people to raise false accusation against you just to blackmail you. You have not done anything wrong, you have not done any evil, but they will just cook up story, raise false accusation against you, and because of that people will not be able to favor you again. It was done against the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 26: 57 – 66; it was done against the Lord Jesus Christ; 57-66 they lied against Him, ‘He said we should not pay tax’, did Jesus tell them not to pay tax?
They lied against Him, ‘He was against the Roman Empire’, was He against the emperor? No, but they were trying to blackmail Him. But every form of blackmail raised against your personality, raised against your destiny will fail.
In conclusion, if you want to have access to favor in life, wage war against these spirits, don’t take it lightly; don’t think it is just usual. Am I communicating?
I was working with a colleague in the University and we were about teaching philosophy; one day, my colleague dreamt that he saw himself with another person that was dead. Instead of him to take action, he went to class and was joking with philosophy; I saw myself in the dream I died, and I saw another person who has died; that is just story, don’t believe it. Even if I die, if I come to this world I will come like paper, nothing will happen; seven days later, this man died in a lone accident, he was driving on the road, I didn’t know what he saw but he saw something and matched the break. Immediately he died, they started the car and the car was working.
Are you ready to do something about it? If you are here today you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, give your life to Jesus Christ and then make up your mind that you will wage war against all these spirits and you will begin to have access to favor. Shall we please rise.
Are you ready to pray? Because of time we are going to make it smart and sharp, are you ready? The first prayer is that go ahead and shout hallelujah! But even as we are praying, if we are here today, you are not yet born again and you want to give your life to Christ, you can please come forward; while we are praying you know you are not yet born again because unless you are born again, favor will elude you; there is no way you can be favored, but you know you want to surrender your life to Jesus so that you can begin to enjoy favor in an unusual way, come.
Are we ready to pray? I want you to shout the name Jesus once, shout it like a warrior; I want you to say I cover myself by the blood of Jesus Christ; every arrow of hatred, every arrow of disfavor, every arrow of ill=luck that the enemy is shooting at me jump up and say I reject it now back to sender. Go ahead and pray. In Jesus name we pray.
I want you to say every attack of ill-luck, I nullify it in the name of Jesus. I decree, ill-luck will not be my portion. Go ahead and pray. Every attack of ill-luck, I reject it, I cancel it. In Jesus name we pray.
We will soon finish, I want you to say every anti-help spirit following me about, I reject you now, roast by fire. Go ahead and pray. In Jesus name we pray.
Lift up your two hands and say my Father, my Father, this week, send destiny helpers unto me; favor me in an unusual way. Go ahead and pray. In Jesus name we pray.
I want you to pray and say my Father, my Father, in all the areas I’ve been forgotten, open my book of remembrance. Shall we pray. In Jesus name we pray.
Move round and say this last prayer, say Father, in the morning, let me have access to favor; in the afternoon, favor me; in the evening, favor me; in my working place, favor me; in the city of Lagos, favor me; even in my dream, favor me. Go ahead and pray. In Jesus name we pray, amen!
I want to pray now, if you know one of the seven spirits I mentioned has been afflicting you, just lift up your two hands; that’s the first prayer I want to pray. You know you have discovered that people just like you when others are helped or favored, it if you know, just raise your two hands.
Lord I plead Your precious blood, the blood that breaks any yoke; the blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel; the blood that no demon can dare wait for; to all these Your children lifting up their hands unto You, Father cover them by Your blood in the name of Jesus.
I decree, every yoke of hatred; yoke of disfavor; yoke of ill-luck; yoke of anti-help; yoke of seeing and not tasting; yoke of blackmail; ah, in your life, I say break in the name of Jesus. Break in the name of Jesus.
Every spirit that makes people see blessings, sees promotion, sees miracle, but will not allow them to partake of it, in your life I say be destroyed. I say be destroyed. So shall it be.
(Put down your hands) Father, I pray for all these Your children, as from today, in the morning you will be favored; in the afternoon you will be favored; in the evening you will be favored. You will shine at home; you will shine abroad in the name of Jesus.
As the Lord has promised, by favor you will be promoted; as from today, anywhere you go favor will trail you all about. By favor, wealth shall be transferred into your hands. So shall it be; by favor you will taste the good of Nigeria, so shall it be in Jesus name we pray.
