The Lord will remember you in the name of Jesus. Our heavenly Father, we say ‘thank You, Sir’; Lord we are grateful because we are not in the mortuary this morning; thank You for bringing all of us into Your sanctuary, Father we are grateful.
Despite all the plans and programs of the enemies against us, we are still alive; accept our thanks in the name of Jesus. My Lord, these Your children who are saying amen, I pray for them that they will never have a better yesterday; that your tomorrow will be better and not bitter; every desires of your hearts that is good, the Lord will grant unto you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Father I’d like to register my weakness before Your children, that there is nothing any man of God can do without the God of man; You are the God of man, please Father use me as usual and bless everyone here, in Jesus name we have prayed.
I’d also like to say good morning to all our daddies and mummies, you will live long and you will live well in the name of Jesus. I also want to say good morning to all our spiritual daddies and mommies; I pray that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will never diminish in your lives in the name of Jesus. I also want to say good morning to all my seniors, the youths – the excellent youths, the anointed youths, the unstoppable youths; you will be greater than us, you will be higher than us in the mighty name of Jesus.
I’m asked to speak on “Divine Blessings”, and under this topic we have: number 1, added blessings; we’ll find that in Matthew 6:33; “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”; so we have added blessings.
Number two, we have overtaking blessings, Deuteronomy 28:2; you hearken diligently to the voice of God, (He says) these blessings will pursue you and they will overtake you. Number three, we have commanded blessings, and God will command His blessings towards you; Leviticus 25:21.
Number four, you have prevailed blessings; Genesis 49:26. Number five, you have outpouring blessings; Malachi 3:10. Number six, you have diverted blessings; 2nd Chronicles 20:20-25: Jehoshaphat and his team were united in grace after God fought for them, He granted them victory without a fight and they were able to possess the possessions of their enemies, amen. The enemies’ possessions were diverted to them.
I want us to pay attention to the following possibilities:
Possibility number 1: Divine blessings are pure and undiluted Proverbs 10 is my witness. Proverbs 10:22 says, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it”.
Possibility number 2: God can bless you even to the point of envy. In Genesis 26:14, He blessed Isaac and the Bible says the Philistines envied him; so God can bless you to the point of envy.
Possibility number 3: God can turn you to a blessing, Genesis 12:2; He blessed Abraham and He turned him to a blessing.
Possibility number 4: Blessings have locations, we talk about territory; therefore, your location can determine your allocation. We find out in Genesis 12; God told Abraham to leave his father’s house, to leave his people, to leave his country and to go to a land that He will show him. When Abraham got to that land, God blessed him. Brethren, blessings have locations; if you are not in that territory where God wants you to be, you will be running after things that are meant to run after you. The territory that God wants you to be is your duty post.
In Genesis 26, there was famine in the land and Isaac wanted to go down to Egypt, God said no, don’t go down to Egypt, remain in the land of famine; Isaac obeyed and God blessed him there. That was his territory, the land of famine.
In Genesis 35:1, God told Jacob to go up to Bethel and dwell there, that was his duty post; Jacob obeyed and God blessed him there. So if you are where God wants you to be and you are doing what God wants you to do, what other people are running after will run after you.
So I’ve said it many times, you don’t need to go to Germany before you jam your blessings. You don’t have to go to UK before you can be okay; you don’t need to japa before God blesses you. If you japa to where God wants you to be, fine, but if you are already there, the blessings of God will locate you.
Possibility number five: Divine blessings can be acquired, can be obtained.
Possibility number six: Divine blessings can be lost or stolen.
Possibility number seven: Divine blessings can be recovered or restored.
My prayers for you are:
- God will bless you to the point of envy.
- God will turn you to a blessing.
- Your lost or stolen blessings shall be restored in the name of Jesus.
So this morning, permit me to focus on Job; Job enjoyed divine blessings. The Bible tells me that God blessed him spiritually, Job 1:1 is my witness; the Bible says he was perfect, he was upright; he feared God and he chided evil.
So spiritually, God blessed him and he was faithful; it is better to be faithful than to be famous. Being faithful qualified him for blessings, according to Proverbs 28:20 which says “A faithful man shall abound with blessings”; so spiritually, God blessed him.
Job 1:3 tells me that God blessed him materially; he had 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen and he has 500 she asses. So spiritually he was blessed, materially he was blessed; in fact the Bible tells me that he was the greatest among all the men of the east.
Job 1: 2 tells me that God blessed Job maritally; he had seven sons and three daughters. In addition, Job enjoyed what I called ‘divine lamination’. Job 1:10 tells me that God made an hedge about him and about his house and about all that he had on every side; he was divinely laminated.
Job enjoyed divine blessings until Satan paid him a visit; because there can be one or two people here who have lost certain blessings, I have good news for you, your dry bones will live again. Satan paid him a visit, and whenever Satan pays anyone a visit, his missions are to steal, to kill and to destroy, John 10:10 is my witness.
After Satan paid Job a visit, he depleted him; he reduced him to the lowest end. Job lost his 7,000 sheep but he never gave up; he lost his 3,000 camels, yet he never gave up; he lost his 500 yoke of oxen and 500 she asses, he still stood his ground; the worst of the calamities that befell him was recorded in Job 1:18 & 19, he lost his seven sons and three daughters same day. I pray for you my fathers and my mothers; you will never bury any of your children.
You see, when a man loses his parents, he has lost his past; when he loses his spouse, he has lost his present; when a man loses his children, he has lost his tomorrow. In Jesus name, you will not lose your spouse; in Jesus name you will not lose any of your children.
Finally he lost his health, Satan deflated him. Job 2:7 tells me that Satan smote him with sore from the sole of his feet to his head; even with the attack on his head, Job still never gave up. So Job suffered losses, he experienced pains, he experienced calamities; despite all the losses, the agony and the pains, Job never gave up.
The good news is Job was lonely but he wasn’t alone; at the time when people thought it was over for Job, the almighty God intervened; He gave him oversized blessings. In Job 42:12, my Bible tells me that God blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning, that will be your portion; your tomorrow will be better and not bitter in Jesus name.
You know what, God gave him double portions; He gave him 14,000 sheep; He gave him 6,000 camels; He gave him a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand she asses; God gave him the results to cancel the insults in his life. god gave him seven sons and three daughters to replace the ones that died. Job experienced recovery and restoration; God surprised him pleasantly; God gave him a better story to tell; God made him a topic, hallelujah. May God make you a topic and not an echo. God gave him long life and good health; God rewarded him for his faithfulness.
The question is what are the secrets of Job? God blessed him; Satan came; God intervened, over-blessed him. He said something, in Job 14:14, he said “All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes”; Job waited on the Lord. Let me tell you this my fathers and my mothers, the time of waiting on the Lord is not a waste; it is better to be on the waiting list of God than to be on the wasting list of the devil.
So for those of us who are on the Lord’s side, your tomorrow will be better. How do I know? I read Psalms 30: 5 and it says weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Job stood his ground, if you don’t stand for something, you are likely going to fall for anything. And I want you to know, difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations; if you are not reigning now, it is because God wants you to still be in training; after training, you will reign.
Now, to enjoy all round blessings, I’d like to recommend the following because we have to get things right here especially when we talk about the youths; some people believe they have to come to church and fast for 40 days and 40 nights because they want to be blessed, uncle don’t waste your time; there are certain things you need to do if you want God to bless you to enjoy all round blessings, divine blessings;
Number one: There is what I call total, absolute or complete obedience to divine instructions. Deuteronomy 28:1-13 is my witness; you hearken, you obey God completely and He said these blessings will pursue you, they will even overtake you. You can read Deuteronomy 28:1-13 if you want to be blessed.
Number two: Diligence, hard work; lazy people cannot go far. Proverbs 22:29 says “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”. Proverbs 13:4 says “The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat”. Even if you are talented, you must still work because hard work defeats talent if talent doesn’t work hard, amen.
You’d agree with me; any committee without a commitment will soon commit crime; the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary. As a student, you are expected to study; don’t just come to church on Monday and fast on Tuesday, come to church on Wednesday, on Thursday, on Friday; brethren, work. You want God to bless you, be diligent in your work; this is my work; sometimes I preach four times a day, oh yes, because it is my work.
This is not the time to rest, those who even advised you to rest are the ones that would even invite you; sir, you need to be resting, and I’d say thank you. Erm daddy, we want to do our anniversary; but you just told me to rest. There is a time apportioned for everything; there is a time to rest and there is a time to work; so if you want God to bless you, I don’t know the kind of work you are doing – legitimate work, anyway.
Number three: If you want God to bless you, you must be in the right location, that’s your territory, that is your duty post; every one of us has his/her duty post; your duty post is where God wants you to be. The interesting thing is that if you are where God wants you to be, (I said it earlier) what other people are running after, will run after you.
That was the reason He told Abraham; leave your father’s house, leave your people, leave your country and go to a land that I will show you. It was after Abraham got to that land that God began to prosper him; He could have prospered him in his father’s house, but that wasn’t his territory.
He told Isaac in Genesis 26; there was a famine and he wanted to japa to Egypt, God said no, don’t go down to Egypt, remain in the land of famine. Isaac obeyed and God blessed him to the point of envy, If he had gone down to Egypt, he would have been miserable.
He told Jacob in Genesis 35; arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there, that’s your territory, that’s your duty post; Jacob obeyed, and God blessed him there. The question is, are you where God wants you to be? Proverbs 3:6 says in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct they paths.
So, God can bless you and He will bless you to the point of envy; don’t forget, it is better to be envied than to be pitied. And please, don’t always be afraid of what people will say; it doesn’t matter what you do, those who will talk will still talk. I’ve told them, if you use the best, people will talk; if you use the least, people will talk; so why don’t you use the best and let them talk. Do what God asks you to do, leave the rest.
I noticed that despite all that happened to Job, he never gave up; so I don’t know what must have happened to you, maybe God had blessed you in the past but somehow, the devil took away some of the blessings, please don’t lose hope, remember what happened to Job, your blessings can still be recovered, you will still bounce back in the mighty name of Jesus. So I don’t even know what you are passing through, but I want you to know that that passing through will lead you to a breakthrough, you will recover in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I hope with these few points of mine, I’ve been able to convince you and not confuse you that before this season expires, in the name of Jesus Christ, people will congratulate you; they will see the handwriting of God upon your life and they will pray to be like you.
I want you to say thank You Father for what You have done for me; thank You Father for what You have done through me, please take the glory in the name of Jesus. Let gratitude be your attitude, appreciate God for what He has done; if you appreciate Him for what He has done, He will do more For you. for what You have done for me, Lord, I say thank You; for what You have done through me, Father, I say thank You; please take the glory, in Jesus name we have prayed.
You are going to say Father, like Job, I’m on your waiting list, please remember me this morning; bless me physically, bless me spiritually, bless me financially, bless me materially and bless me maritally in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord remembered Job, he opened chapter 42 for him and his story changed; the Lord gave him a better story to tell. Lord, it is my turn, bless me physically, bless me spiritually, bless me financially, bless me maritally in the name of Jesus Christ. My Father, bless me, in Jesus name we have prayed.
Job recovered all: say Father, like Job, please let me recover all that the enemies have stolen from me; everything that the enemies had taken from me, Father, let me recover it in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let my lost blessings come back to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You Father, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Job experienced divine intervention: say Father, like Job. Please intervene in my life, intervene in my home, intervene in my business (es), intervene in my ministry and reverse the irreversible in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes Lord, intervene my Father; intervene in every area of my life, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus. None of your request will go into the voicemail; the Lord will endorse your requests, in Jesus name we have prayed.
Now, you are going to tell God; say Father, wherever my helpers are, please command them to locate me, command them to help me; this is my time, oh yes Lord, I must rise I must shine; this is my turn, command my helpers wherever they are and let them help me in the name of Jesus. Thank You Father, in Jesus name we have prayed.
Our heavenly Father, we want to thank You; we are grateful to You; we appreciate You Father; Father accept our thanks in Jesus name. We’ve loaded the cloud with our requests this morning, my Father, endorse our requests.
There are some of your children that are marriageable but are still single; my Lord, I pray for them that You will give them the bone of their bone and the flesh of their flesh. My Lord I pray, that beginning from this moment, our little efforts will provoke great accomplishments in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Or Your children who have challenges over their health; my Lord, speak to their situations and heal them oh Lord. It is written every plant which my heavenly Father did not plant, it shall be uprooted; anything You did not plant in our system, my Lord, let it be uprooted now in the name of Jesus.
I pray for Your children who are students that You will give them wisdom; You will give them knowledge and understanding. All our children that are abroad, I pray for them, we will always hear good news from them; for our sake, You will grant them favor in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Brethren I cover you with the blood of Jesus Christ; no evil hand will touch you; no evil eyes will see you. Any door that must have been shut against anyone here, in the physical or in the spiritual, I open it today in Jesus name. if there is any embargo placed on anyone, I lift it this morning in the name of Jesus.
December last year, somebody came out openly and he said ‘it is my turn’, and today, he had what he said; my Lord, I say to You concerning these Your children, it is our turn; it is our turn to make it; it is our turn to rise and shine; it is our turn to shine; my Lord, let us shine; polish all of us the way we polish our shoes and make us shine brighter and brighter.
Every problem that followed anyone to this sanctuary this morning; I command it to receive a divine solution in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You Father, for in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
I want to ask this question; how many of us need help? The Bible says for vain is the help of man; man can promise you and disappoint you; man can promise you and fail; man can promise you and forget you; and the worst of it is that man can promise you and die; but God is not a man, when He makes a promise, He fulfills it.
Again, how many of us want God to help us? He says come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden; (He says) I will give you rest; I will help you, and He’s going to do it free of charge. So wherever you are, you want God to help you, come and surrender your life to Him first. He says seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things shall be added; get the object first and the shadow will be added.
So if you want God to help you, this is your season, this is your time; wherever you are, you want to surrender your life to Him for Him to help you, just wave your hands, I want to pray for you. God is waiting to bless you and He will surely bless you; you will never go back the same, the Lord will add values to your lives; the Lord will grant you the desires of your hearts. Change your territory, He wants to take you to a new duty post, your own duty post; don’t be too comfortable in Egypt, otherwise you will never make it to the Promised Land; let God put you in your Promised Land where you belong.
Brethren help me stretch your hands towards these wonderful sons and daughters of the Most High and prophesy into their lives that the good Lord that brought them into His sanctuary today will perfect everything that concerns them. You’ve come and now you’ve surrendered to Him, in the name of Jesus, He will change your lives; He will have mercy on you; He will write Your names in the Book of Life.
There is no medicated soap that can wash away sins, it is only the blood of Jesus that can do it; I pray that the Lord will wash you with the blood of Jesus; He will write your names in the Book of Life; He will go to the foundations of your families, if there is any embargo there, for your sake, God will remove in Jesus name. It is well with you, in Jesus name we have prayed.
May I prophesy that before this June expires, in your lives, iyanu will shele. God bless you all in Jesus name.
