Father, we thank You because we know Your name; thank You because Your name is Jesus, in Your name there is power, in Your name there is strength, in Your name there is help, in Your name there is beauty and glory. Lord, we ask of You this morning that You will manifest Yourself in diverse ways as Your name in the name of Jesus Christ.
Today is the last Sunday in August, Your children have come with great expectations, Lord, we pray today that our expectations shall not be cut off in Jesus name. Lord Almighty, we pray concerning the losses that Your children have suffered in the past, we pray oh God in the name of Jesus that You will help everyone under the influence of my voice and the families that they represent, recover every lost ground in Jesus name.
We have come unto You, Lord, today for renewal, renew us body, soul and spirit in Jesus name. Give us the mind of Christ in Jesus name, help us Lord Almighty God to look beyond what we can see and what the earth is contained thereof in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide us and lead us, help us and direct us, give us grace, grace to serve, grace to walk with You in the mighty name of Jesus. Grant us divine speed, grant us divine enablement, sharpen our knowledge, help us Lord not to live in ignorance in the mighty name of Jesus.
And Lord Almighty, I pray that You will settle us in a very supernatural manner even beyond our own expectations. Thank You Father because You have answered. Fresh oil from above, fresh anointing, Lord Almighty God, release upon each and everyone in Jesus name; help us to start afresh and help us to start anew and Lord Almighty, we pray that You will multiply Your grace unto us, and by the same grace You will carry us in Jesus name. Thank You for everything, in Jesus wonderful name we have prayed.
Good morning to you all, we greet you in the name of the Lord, and it is with great joy in our hearts that we welcome you to this glorious Sunday, the Lord will bless you in Jesus name. I pray for those who traveled that the same Lord that took them there safely will bring them back safely in Jesus name. But if you are abroad and you are listening to me, it is high time you come back, you’ve had enough vacation, there are some of us who could not go, so remember those of us who could not go and come back. The Lord will bless you all in Jesus name. ..
By the grace of God, with effect from 12 midnight tomorrow, your church, my church, our church, ceases to be the headquarters of Lagos Province 20; from tomorrow, the provincial headquarters of Lagos Province 20 has moved or be moving to ROCG Floodgates of Heaven by C &I Leasing Close, and our church will be wearing a new level, a new status as the regional headquarters of region 71.
We are moving higher, we are stepping forward [music]. As it has pleased the Almighty God to lift us up as a church and as a people, so I pray that you will experience elevation in every area of your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
The governing council of our mission under the chairmanship of the Holy Spirit and our esteemed father in the Lord, graciously approved the elevation of Christ the Lord Parish as a regional headquarters during the convention. So by the grace of God, moving forward, I’m sure from Tuesday, we’ll be seeing a different status, a different nomeclature as the case may be, and of course it’s going to show and reflect in all that we do. My prayer is that God will help us to keep the momentum of excellence, of service, and of worship and righteousness in the name of Jesus.
As usual, there will be prayer chain tomorrow, time is 6:30 p.m. So that will be the last prayer chain as it were as a provincial headquarters, subsequently it will be as regional headquarters. God will bless you as you come, it promises to be great and God bless you and keep you in Jesus name.
1 Peter 5: 10, but may the God of all grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. The Pastor (Mrs.) that led us in prayer, I wouldn’t know whether she was inspired or she got the text from our flyer, took us to the same scripture, and I pray that prayer for every one of you under the influence of my voice this morning that the God of all grace who has called you will perfect you, will establish you, will strengthen you and of course will settle you in the mighty name of Jesus.
Within the space of time, by the grace of God I will be talking to us on Divine Settlement. The topic for today by the grace of God is Divine Settlement, and the topic consists of two words, namely, divine and settlement.
Without much ado, you know that anything divine has to do with God; whenever you hear about divine, you know it’s something that has to do with the spirit realm. This is because divine has to do with the supernatural, that is something that is beyond the realm of man; while the word settlement is a multi- faceted term that generally refers to an official resolution of a disagreement in the legal parlance.
When you hear lawyers talk about settlement, it means that a case had been mutually resolved without necessarily going through the litigation route; they will tell you the matter has been settled, they just do it without going through the fireworks of the legal process.
It also mean the establishment of a community in a new location. When you talk about settlement in human geography, it has to do with relocation of a community. For instance, the government can decide maybe they want to construct a road; when the coastal road was being constructed, there were some houses along the same corridor that were demolished and the people were relocated. Those who have legal rights to ownership were relocated to a new place.
Talking about settlement could also mean the final payment of a debt in the financial system. When a banker tells you the man has settled, it means that you have paid, you borrowed and you have paid.
To a builder, (you know I told you the word settlement is multi- faceted), settlement is the downward movement of a structure as the soil beneath it compresses and adjusts to the building weight, is the settlement. In some places, in some terrain, especially in a waterlogged environment, they will sandfill and leave the land to compress, to settle before you put a structure. If you put a structure before the land settles, then you are playing with fire, because you’ll find out that at the end of the day, the structure will not stand erect.
That’s why you see some structures bend to the east, some bend to the west, some to the north or the south, but wise builders, specialists, they will fill it up and allow the land to settle, to compress.
However, the Cambridge dictionary defines settlement as an official agreement that finishes an argument, and I like it because it is straight and concise. Today, my God will put a final seal to every argument and every arrangement in your favor in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
You know there is a way people will argue, should we do it, should we not; some will say do it, some will say don’t do it, but when God is involved and when God decides to bless you, He just tries to do what overrides the whole argument in your favor.
Something happened some years back, a church was building a structure and the structure collapsed, and it is in written of the government that every structure that collapses must revert back to government. So when they got to the meeting and they were putting heads together and of course there were arguments, like the Pharisees say, it is written that any building that collapses must revert to government.
And another set of people said yes, it is written, but we also put it there that if it falls or it collapses without any fatality, we may have to look at that, at the end of the day, the man sitting as the chairman said well, looking at the whole argument, I want to say that we should allow that church to have their land because there was no fatality involved. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that every argument, everything that people are trying to push against you, God will resolve them in your favor in the name of Jesus Christ.
Divine settlement therefore is God’s supernatural intervention to put an end to seasons of struggles, delay, failure, hardship, replacing them with (what I call) enduring peace, restoration, establishment, and rest. I pray in the name of Jesus that God will grant you rest from every trouble in the mighty name of Jesus.
Divine settlement is a divine guarantee that God will perfect, strengthen, and establish your life, moving you from transition to permanent blessings. I want you to tell your neighbor, God will move you from transition to permanent blessing, God will move you from transition to permanent restoration, God will move you from transition to permanent health in the mighty name of Jesus.
And talking about divine settlement is a promise made by no other than the One who does not lie nor can deny Himself. In 2 Timothy 2:13, it says, if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. So what that simply means, that your unbelief will not even change His status; if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself, not that He may not, He said He cannot, is a final word, He cannot deny Himself.
And of course, in our text, 1st Peter 5:10, He made Himself clear as much as possible; firstly, He said He is the God of grace, in fact, He said the God of all grace, so there is more than one grace. So if He says I’m the God of all grace, what does it mean? It simply means that your settlement is not based on your own human efforts or perfection, your settlement is not going to be based on your level of righteousness because the Bible says our righteousness is like a filthy rag.
So your settlement today, today is 30th of August, we have just barely one and a half days to go, right? But I decree in the name of Jesus that before August expires, God will settle you in Jesus name.
Settlement is a function of unmerited favor. In Ephesians 2: 8 & 9, it says, for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; if you are saved, is just by reason of God’s gift, is God gift, you don’t go and start bragging ‘you know I’m born again, you are not born again’; your born again is by grace and is God’s gift. Praise the Lord somebody.
The Bible says not of works, lest any man should boast; those of us that say – it’s good to boast in the Lord because you are a son of God but you don’t boast by dare salvation because it is in the first place is a product of grace and it’s a gift from God. I pray in the name of Jesus, the God of all grace will settle you before this month expires in the name of Jesus.
Then number two, out of the scripture, it says after you have suffered a while, so it means that God actually recognizes the fact that there is suffering and that means that people suffer.
Brethren, I stand here to declare this morning that affliction has an expiry date, whatever challenges you may be going through have expiry date. In Psalm 30:5, it says, for his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Something tells me that is your season of rejoicing.
In 2 Corinthians 4:17, it says, for our light affliction, (I want you to take note) which is but for a moment. No affliction is permitted to stay longer than necessary; no affliction, no hardship, no failure is designed to last forever. And that’s why I pray in the name of Jesus that every affliction, every challenge, every failure will fade away as this month fades away in the name of Jesus.
It says, for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Who will ever believe that the affliction, the tribulation that Joseph went through will eventually take him to the throne? Who will ever believe that the tribulation that Daniel passed through will lead to a situation where the king himself will now embrace the God of the God Almighty?
The situation you are going through is meant to achieve a purpose and that purpose is to the glory of God. I pray in the name of Jesus that everything you are going through will end up in praise in Jesus name.
Seasons of hardship are often stepping stones to prepare you for the blessings ahead, and I say it confidently on this exalted altar this morning that your tomorrow will be all right.
Isaiah 3: 10, it says, say ye to the righteous, it shall be well with him. I decree prophetically and apostolically that it shall be well with you, it shall be well with your health, it shall be well with your home, it shall be well with your body, it shall be well with your spirit, it shall be well with your finances, it shall be well with your business, in every area of your life you will experience wellness from today in the name of Jesus Christ.
From the first our scripture, 1 Peter 5:10, it is noteworthy that the rest of the same scripture is also anchored on four pillars. Number one, pillar of perfection; number two, pillar of establishment; number three pillar is the pillar of strength; and number four pillar is pillar of settlement.
Now pillar number one, perfection; to perfect simply means to mend what is broken in your life. I pray this morning that everything broken, the Lord will amend in Jesus name, the Lord will repair in Jesus name. There is this saying, nothing broken nothing lost, I decree in the name of Jesus, from today, nothing broken nothing lost in your life in Jesus name.
Number two, that establishment. To establish mean to plant you firmly; when you are planted firmly, you can stand the test of winds, you can stand the test of storms, nothing shakes you, nothing move you, you are deeply rooted. I pray in the name of Jesus that from today, you will not be victims of storm in the name of Jesus Christ.
Pillar number three, it says strengthening; to strengthen means to empower you to overcome the future battles and encounters. Brethren, there will be challenges, there will be confrontations, there will be encounter.
John 16: 33, it says, these things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. The Lord has overcome for you, your victory is non-negotiable in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has overcome for you, nothing takes your victory, nothing takes your blessing in the name of Jesus.
Then pillar number four, settle is to give you (what I call) a permanent rest, compensation, and stability. And I want to say this this morning that God has a proven track record of stepping into human impossibilities (of course) to settle His people; there are many examples of such that we can talk about in the Bible:
Number one, I think I mentioned Joseph, from the pit, his initial destination was the pit; he was thrown into the pit, but from pit to palace. You can find that in Genesis 41:39-44 (we are not going to read), despite being betrayed and jailed, God orchestrated Joseph timing to settle him as the ruler over Egypt.
Suffice to say that your current delay may be a divine positioning for your elevation, and I pray in the name of Jesus that you will celebrate in due course in the mighty name of Jesus.
Another example is Ruth, from widowhood to a blessed home maker. Ruth 4: 13- 15 (you may read when you get home), God turned a season of loss and bitterness around into a beautiful testimony of family provision and honor. I pray in the name of Jesus that from today, God will turn your life around and make you a beautiful spectacle to behold in the name of Jesus.
Number three is Jabez, from pain to enlargement, that you’ll find in 1 Chronicle 4:9 & 10 (we are not going to read because of our time). Jabez prayed for a shift in his destiny and God granted his request to settle him beyond his family history of pain. From today in the mighty name of Jesus, you’ll be delivered from every evil heritage in the mighty name of Jesus.
And of course, you know the story of Job, from the lowest to the highest. Job suffered (what I call) catastrophic losses, but when God moved into his matter, his losses were reversed to blessings.
Brethren, it is on record that the latter years of Job were better than his beginning. That you’ll find in Job 42:12, I have it on good authority and I have it on the word of God this morning that you will not end it in sorrow, you will end it greater and better than you ever imagined in the mighty name of Jesus.
Very quickly as I try to round up, how do you provoke divine settlement? Securing your divine settlement requires a total spiritual alignment, intentional and unflinching faith, obedience, and sacrifice. Total submission and obedience is key, Isaiah 1:19, it says, if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.
Number two, casting your cares upon Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Unbelief and anxiety have the capacity to block your rest, and I want to say this this morning, please and please, don’t put your trust in anyone. An average man is designed to fail and there are many things responsible for that failure, sometimes envy, you find out that even within siblings they don’t want you to be better, and of course we have examples in the Bible.
You remember those two disciples that went to Jesus with their mother; I want my son to be the head of the – even from Jesus time. In a family where they have two children, Isaac and Rebecca, could not manage themselves; even some polygamies are doing wonders in that area.
Isaac and Rebecca could not manage their own home, one believed in this, the other one believed in this and that led to crisis. Don’t believe anyone, I’ve come to realize that; some may even have good intentions but when it matters, something will force them to fail. My prayer is that you will not suffer betrayal at the critical time, and where you have suffered before, God will raise up a voice for you.
Number next, a lifestyle of praise is inevitable. Hebrews 13:15, it says, by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.
Next week Sunday is our thanksgiving service day, and whenever you come, come prepared but that does not mean that you should not praise God before then. It says by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name; when God settles you, your turn around will sound like a dream.
You watch Africa magic now, this one, God’s own is sure, is permanent, is real, unlike Africa Magic. You know African magic, you see fire, sometime you see somebody turning to snake but it is African magic and that is the name, the fellow that you saw that turn to snake yesterday will come to the church and sit down with you and if you mention snake he will be the first person to run away because what he did was just abracadabra, he cannot face even what he turned to.
The Bible says when the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, (it says) we were like them that dream. So I want to urge you to offer Him the sacrifice of your lips in advance for the loading shift and testimony.
In conclusion, with divine settlement, you are sure that the end is better than the beginning. Ecclesiastes 7:8, better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. You will end it better in the name of Jesus. The years that cankerworms and caterpillars have eaten are restored in divine settlement, Joel 2:25. Long years of labor without results are bountifully rewarded.
Let me tell you, all those things you have done but which you have not received the commensurate or this thing, they are investment, you will reap it with bumper dividends and of course with bumper capital appreciation in the mighty name of Jesus.
You remember the story of Mephibosheth, 2nd Samuel 9: 1-end, where you get to read, he was remembered, all the things that the grandfather did, he came back to possess them. You will possess your possession in the name of Jesus.
Brethren, help me tell somebody, today is your day, it is your season of glory and settlement. Then say it to yourself, today is my day, it’s my season of glory and settlement, and so shall it be in the name of Jesus.
However, you must be ready to be connected to Him if you have not done that yet. The Bible says by strength shall no man prevail, and if you have, then you will need to cry out to Him like Jabez did.
As you all rise on our feet this morning, I want you to sing this song, remember me, oh Lord… [music]
Just one prayer item and I believe that will settle everything. You are going to cry out to the Lord and say Father, remember me for glory and settle me without any further delay in the mighty name of Jesus. Open your mouth and cry unto the Lord, Father remember me for glory. You are a child of glory, you are a glory carrier, pray to God.
Father, remember me for glory and settle me today without any further delay in the name of Jesus. Be desperate with your prayer, cry like Bartimeus did and I trust God will hear and answer you today in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, remember me for Your glory and settle me once and for all, in Jesus mighty name we have prayed.
Before we declare the final blessing, all eyes closed, all heads bowed. We want to release the blessings of God and we want to pray for open heaven over every one of you.

Shall we pray. By the apostolic authority and of course with the corporate anointing in the house, I decree that every unsettled area in your career, in your marriage and in your finances shall receive divine settlement today in Jesus name. I decree and declare that your season of toiling, your season of struggling shall come to an end in the name of Jesus Christ.
I pray for divine compensation for every loss you have incurred in the past in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And I pray in the name of Jesus that from today, you walk out from uncertainty into divine establishment and rest in the mighty name of Jesus. I prophesy a happy new year to you and a glorious new season, a glorious new season of joy, a glorious new season of peace, a glorious new season of happiness, and a glorious new season of progress in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
From today, you will move from the rare to the fore in the mighty name of Jesus, you will matter where it matters, you will become matter where it matters in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I pray that your place, no other person shall break in the mighty name of Jesus, and every seemingly mountain in your life, in your family, the Lord will destroy in the name of Jesus.
My God will settle you and He will take you to that green pasture, the place of peace, the place of joy, the place of rest and the place of testimony. So shall it be, for so we decree in the name of God the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name we have prayed.
