THE WELFARE DEPARTMENT
The Welfare Department of the RCCG Christ The Lord Parish Lekki oversees the CSR initiatives of the church, in addition to the responsibilities towards the church congregation as a whole.
Funding for the Welfare Dept and it’s various programs comes from Monthly Welfare Offerings during church services and Strategic Partners.
WELFARE ACTIVITIES
- Pay school fees (Govt. Schools) up to university level and medical bills
(Govt. Hospitals) - Food and Clothing
– Giving out decent clothing and household utensils
– Food items periodically - Vocational training and workshop.
- Empowerment: Purchase start up tools for trained entrepreneurs subject to
excellent performance at training and internship. - Pregnant women
– Pregnant women are encouraged to take advantage of the RCCG, CTL Maternity home, Awoyaya .
– Support the maternity with drugs and other needs.
